Chapter 65 - Darren
Our first week unofficially running Madonie has been chaos, to say the least. There are so many people here that lost families, homes, and businesses because of Ignazio. And I’ve been trying to get it all organized for André to address.
It’s a good thing I have an organized military-like mind. I’ve been categorizing all the requests coming at us into three categories. High, medium, and low for urgency and importance.
I’ve been trying to get a hold of Stephen and Amelia since André wants her to be his Gamma. But I have gotten no answer for a week.
As I got his voicemail again, I sighed. “What the hell could happen for him to not answer his phone for a week?” I grumbled.
“Oh, I could think of many reasons to not answer a phone.” André snickered from the chaise he’d put in what apparently will end up being my office.
Of course, he had it put near a window. So he’s stretched out like a cat soaking up the sunshine.

The seemingly ordinal building looked more like a large shed for gardening equipment, but it was a different story inside it. I put on a good facade for the party. I’m Alpha now, and I can’t let my pack now something was bothering me like this. I certainly can’t let Lando know. That guy had to be lying.
