LOGINIVORY’S POV
A week has passed since I saw the Alpha last. But the pain came every night that I wonder if what he does is on purpose. I groan as I sit upright, careful not lay much of my weight on my stomach that is covered in dark purple painful bruises. I don’t heal fast, omegas lack that ability. I had only been given food twice since I’ve been locked up. Three pieces of bread and bone broth on both occasions. It’s a miracle I’m still alive. The cell door opens and I scurry towards it expecting my next meal but instead I’m picked up roughly and I try to thrash but I’m held in place by both guards. “The Alpha requested we bring you to him.” The guard at my right shakes me violently before holding my chin tightly forcing me to look at him. “He must really hate that you are his, because what’s out there I don’t guarantee you’ll come back alive.” The last part causes my blood to run cold. ********************************************************* I am taken through the pack grounds and into the hall I had professed the Alpha to be mate. But this time… It’s not empty. A long table with people sitting round it comes into my line of view. I’m dragged inside still thrashing and I’m slapped. This causes me stop struggling. I’m forced to face the ground so I don’t see the people in the hall, I do recognize one scent as my mate’s. “Your highness,” chair scraping against tiles echoes the room. My mate’s voice began to speak. “This here will be given to you as an extra along with the other offerings we made.” I my breath hitches. Is he giving me away? The room is dead quiet for a while, and I’m almost tempted to look up. A chair scrapes against the floor, it seemed to come from the seat facing the table. Footsteps echo the hall and I nearly pass out when it comes to stop few inches from me. If the earth could open, now would be the right time. A finger tries to lift my chin and I flinch. I hear the person draw in a sharp breath before moving away a few steps. “Look at me.” The voice, soft but powerful and at the same time it fills me with ease. I look up at the owner of the voice. Beautiful, that’s one word I could use to describe him The man before me stood like a being carved from power itself, his tall frame effortlessly dominant. Raven-black hair fell in dark, untamed strands over a face of sharp, striking angles, his slightly pale skin giving him an otherworldly, dangerous allure. His dark eyes stared heavy as it into my soul and his lips. His lips… Are pulled back baring sharp fangs. I gasp and put my head back down afraid of what might happen next. “Let go of her.” His voice was low but it was enough for the guards to let go of me. Whoever this man was, he was not one to be joked with. “She’s coming with me, take her to the vehicle.” I am dragged again but this time I don’t intend to do it quietly. “No! Alpha please, I’ll live in the dungeon for the rest of my life, you can banish me please.” But my pleas are ignored and I’m dragged out of the hall. I’m thrown into a car and locked inside, I bang against the window begging to be let go but no one answers. I notice my hands are now imprinted against the window and I hurry to use my dress to wipe it off. I also notice the windows are not rolled down and I’m the only one here. (Lucien’s POV) My body is rigid as I watch her get dragged out, I can’t act in her presence. I might scare her. I wait until the sweet smell of vanilla and roses mixed with a tinge of blood dulls in the atmosphere before turning back to face the Alpha. He flinches, nearly crossing his feet. Good, he should be scared. My wolf and vampire side are fighting for dominance and I try to calm myself before I rip somebody’s head off. I don’t intend to ruin my designer. And I don’t intend to appear before her looking like a horror movie. “Ajax.” My voice mixing in with both my hybrid side. “Ye… yes your highness.” He quivers. I motion for him to come closer, he relunctantly does and at that moment I let my wolf Lupus, slip in a bit and this alters my appearance making me appear larger in frame. I grab at his tie earning a choked gasp in the process, I see his Beta shoot out of his seat but my second in command punches him back down to his seat. I squeeze tighter. “How dare you lay a hand on a defenseless woman.” My voice grows darker. He tries to speak but his airways are restricted, I losen my grip a little. “Your highness, she committed a crime.” I draw him closer and stare into his eyes, he tries to look away but I lock him place. My vampire side Draven creeps in merging alongside with lupus, my vision changes and I’m able to view everything that had happened through Ajax’s eyes. A glass window shatters and along with it the Alpha of Silverthorne pack, I threw me with great force that it knocked him unconscious. He’s lucky… he should have died. I stretch out my hand and recieve an handkerchief and wipe off the excuse of an Alpha DNA off my hands. “If anybody, treats a woman or a child in such manner again and I get word of it.” I pause, watching everyone belonging to the pack quiver. The scents of their fear filling my lungs, exciting me. “You would wish you never belonged to this pack in the first place.” And with that I turned to leave, my second in command, Aiden following close behind along with the rest of my men. “I would have killed him. Let’s go back and finish the job.” Lupus growls in my head and I smirk. “ For the first time in centuries, I agree with you. But we do not need to go home with blood on our clothes and besides we’re wearing our favorite designer.” Draven adds. “Most importantly we don’t want to scare our mate, she seems terrified of us. And it’s all your fault for showing yourself like that to her”. Draven was about to reply but I shut him off. Lupus is right, if only Draven didn’t get upset when he saw her, maybe she wouldn’t have been terrified. I walk out of the pack, my men running to get the vehicle door, the offering were placed in the last two vehicles and I move to mine, peeping inside but I don’t see what I’m looking for. “Where is she!” I Storm to the second and notice she’s not there, I move to the last car and dread creeps up body. My vampire and wolf frantic. She’s in it, but she’s not moving and the windows are rolled up. I let out a loud growl, feeling the ground shake as I storm back into the pack house. I immediately take sight of the guards that where sent to drop her in the car. And all I see is red.LUCIEN’S POV My body is shaking, rage and murder oozing out of my body. “Let’s destroy them all.” Both Lupus and Draven’s voice merge and fills my head, their fury added to mine. I make for the main entrance and call for my car, I’m about to enter but a hand stops me. I Grab at it throwing the person that owns across the courtyard. Aiden straightens up and runs towards me in a blur but I knock him down again effortlessly. Vampire strength dulls compared to that of an hybrid’s. “Don’t try to stop me Aiden.” I warn sternly. But he does not listen nonetheless, wedging himself between me and the entrance of the car. “My lord, if you go back there and destroy her pack. She may never forgive you and you’ll just increase the level of fear she has for you.” He grunts. “And we just compensated the families of the two guards you killed from her pack not long ago.” That made me stop, I take a step back and rake a hand through my hair. “Did you see what they did to her!? She’s
IVORY’S POV I feel something cool press against my temple and I moan, leaning further into it. “Are you awake?” The voice asks and I nod. I quickly shoot up into a sitting position and I regret it immediately as I begin to see stars. “Relax, if you move too fast you might pass out again.” I nod, waiting for my vision to clear before looking at the owner of the voice. I gasp as I struggle to kneel in the large vehicle, careful not to ruin the expensive looking leather seats. It’s the man the Alpha referred to as highness. “Uhm, I… I’m sorry.” Silence. Two hands drop to waist and I am hoist up into his arms, I gasp but I dare not move. My body already hurts from previous beatings. I shut my eyes tight enough that I begin to see patterns. The man holding me let’s put a sigh. “Open your eyes mi rosa, I won’t hurt you.” Somehow I believe him, I open my eyes and his knuckles come into view. It held a faint tinge of blood. “Look at me.” He lifts my head up by my chin and my

I must have been a menace in my past life for the moon goddess to attach such an ill fate to me. The Alpha is on the dance floor with the Beta’s daughter, hands on her ass. I watch as one of his hands snakes underneath her dress and she crumples into his embrace. My blood boils. Alarms go off in my head and I could feel heat rush to my face. No. It can’t be—this feeling, this bond. If gazes could kill, that bimbo would already be dead. I stare on with lowered gaze, I don’t dare raise my head for fear that I might get hit by one of the guards. I watch as his hands move in motion between her hips and she lets out an audible moan, her manicured fingers squeezing his suit-clad shoulders. I can’t take it anymore, and against all logic, and the potential possibility of death. I scream. “Mate!” I clap a hand over my mouth, but it’s too late. The tray in my hands crashes to the floor, wine spilling everywhere. The entire hall goes still. Gasps ripple through the crowd as every
