GRAYSON
Something about her fascinated me and drew me in. I wanted to learn more about her, spend some quality time with her, and still tease her. I couldn’t concentrate on what was being taught in the class at that moment because my entire attention was on her and her alone. I observed how she smiled, laughed, and wrote notes in her notebook while maintaining a serious expression.
I’m not sure how time flew by, but the sound of the bell jolted me, and I saw everyone else leave the classroom except her. She remained preoccupied with what she was writing in her notebook. Naturally, I was not the type to wait for others to leave before leaving the classroom, but I had found something that would keep me occupied. It was all her; her pheromones excited me, and I wanted to learn more about her, what she did, how she lived, what she did for fun, in short, everything about her.
I wanted to know everything while still teasing her as much as possible. I suppose teasing her would bring her closer to me and make her submit to my will.
I couldn’t take my eyes away from hers. She must have felt my gaze and raised her head to meet mine. I couldn’t pretend I wasn’t staring at her because we were the only ones in the room. I was curious as to what was going through her mind as her gaze passed through mine.
Why was I so taken with this werewolf? What was it about her that drew me in? Why was I so drawn to her? What else could she give me that would excite me as much as her anger had earlier? What else could I make her do? What else could she possibly be capable of?
I wanted to leave now that I had her attention, but I couldn’t move; it was as if an unknown force was pulling me in, refusing to let me go. I gave in to the force and stood still, staring at her, and her eyes were fixed on mine as well. I whispered in a voice only I could hear, “WATCH OUT LITTLE ONE, YOU WILL BE SEEING MORE OF ME.”
I wanted to stay a little longer and observe her more, but I remembered that I had promised to hang out with my new friends. Because of her and the encounter this morning, I had a lot of people, both male and female, trying to make friends with me. I was able to make two friends who I knew would come in handy when I needed them.
I promised to meet them at the arcades today. I needed to get away from the stress of moving and having to live in a new environment where I didn’t know anyone other than my house, the mall, and school. I needed someone to show me around, and thanks to Mark and Tyler.
I apologized, “Hey, guys, I apologize for being late. I’m sorry, I got caught up in something important,” and they both accepted.
Tyler was a vampire, and Mark was a werewolf. Although we had nothing in common, they were the ones who were fun and could help me.
We had been gaming for about two hours when I smelled a familiar pheromone that belonged to Chloe. I was excited knowing she was nearby, and I wanted to see her and observe her from a distance. As I scanned the room, I didn’t spot her until she walked past the glass door. I quickly stuffed my belongings into my bag.
“Hey, guys, I have to leave... I have some urgent matters to attend to, and I was just notified of them. Here’s my share of the money. See you later,” I said as I hurried out, ignoring Tyler and Mark’s calls.
I was interested in Chloe, so I saw this as an opportunity to learn more about her, particularly where she was staying. I followed her for several hours, constantly hiding so she didn’t notice me. I was almost caught by her at one point. I guess she must have realized someone was following her.
I watched as she came to a stop in front of a building and opened the door, only to be pulled in and the door closed behind her. I waited a few minutes and when she didn't come out, I knew that was where she lived.
Why I was following her is a mystery to me. Sure, she piqued my interest, but I never imagined I’d be tracking her instead of relaxing in the comfort of my own home. Instead, I was outside in the cold, trying to learn more about her.
Since I was already at her house, I figured I’d look around and learn more about her. I scanned the structure.
I scanned the building for another way into the house and noticed a slightly open window.
I ran fast, climbing the walls as fast as I could until I reached the window and climbed in. My nose was clogged with pheromones the moment I stepped in, and her pheromones filled the entire room. I was in her room. Who would have guessed that following her would lead me here?
While I was here, I wanted to get my fill and search the room for things that would interest me. I took a walk around the room, inspecting everything from her bed to the pictures on the wall. My gaze was drawn to two framed pictures on her reading table, one of a couple with a baby and the other of another couple with Chloe. A thought occurred to me: ‘Who were the couple and the baby? Was that Chloe when she was younger?’ I heard a voice and the sound of footsteps coming up the stairs, so I quickly escaped through the window and hid in the tree in front of the window, making sure I had put everything back in place so she wouldn't suspect anything.
I watched as she sat on her bed and then began undressing.
This was bad. I shouldn’t be watching a girl undress, but I was captivated by her amazing body. In this state, I was a pervert who deserved to be stoned.
Her body was perfectly toned and sculpted, with a little form and a well-cupped and sculpted ass. I was so taken with what I was seeing that I licked my lips together. She didn’t spend long in the bathroom before exiting with a towel wrapped around her body and wet hair. Before leaving the room, she wore a short and an oversized T-shirt.
I returned to the room and went into the bathroom where she had exited. Call me a pervert—I couldn't care less. I remained there, smelling her freshly washed. I used my hand to feel her shampoo, body wash, and other products then returned to her room and sat on her bed.
I quietly moved my gaze around her room. It was small, blue, and perfectly and neatly organized. I heard movement and went back outside the room; when she entered, she went straight to her reading table and sat there.
She was exhausted after a while, so she turned off the light and went to sleep. I waited a while before returning to her room. The room was now dark, but I could still see her because of the small amount of light that reflected on her face. She looked so peaceful as she slept, but I could tell she was bothered by the strand of hair on her face.
I had reached out my hand to help her in removing it when she flinched, and the expression on her face changed from peaceful to terrified. Then I noticed her trembling and sweat pouring down her face and body.
“No! Please let my parents go. Please don’t kill them, no, no.” Tears began to fall from her eyes, and she blinked before slowly opening them. I quickly hid in the dark near the window. She sat up in her bed, wiping away her tears.
I could see her lips moving but she wasn’t making a sound. At that moment, a wind blew in through the window and she turned in my direction. I paused for a moment, but when I noticed she was reaching for the light, I dashed out of her room and towards my home.
I went straight to the bed in my room and fell flat on it. I couldn’t take my thoughts away from her; her expression and the words that came out of her mouth as she cried in her sleep, begging someone not to kill her parents.
‘Who was she living with if her parents were no longer alive?’ Who was the couple with the baby? Were those her real parents? The other couple, who were they?’ All of these thoughts ran through my head until I fell asleep.
KING THEODORE“My Lord, there is a prophecy, and this time it is the worst that we can imagine,” said Tim, the king’s favorite man.“What happened this time, and what is the prophecy?” I asked and waited for Tim to reveal the prophecy.“The child of the prophecy that would bring your reign to an end is still alive and of age…” Tim responded, and I screamed. This was not possible. I’d made sure I’d killed everyone in the Pack and that not a single soul remained alive. So, how did the prophecy child escape the massacre? It was not meant to be, it was impossible.I had been in a meeting with the leaders of my Pack when the witch delivered the scroll to me. She had read it aloud for everyone to hear.‘A child is born into the werewolf clan, a hybrid who will bring light and hope to the world. He would be known as the world’s hero, and he would be the one to put an end to the vampire king’s reign, thereby bringing peace to the world.’I recalled being filled with rage and declaring war aft
“Princess, why do you always sit and stare at the ceiling when you wake up? Is there something bothering you, my love?” Damien asked as he sat next to me on the bed, “A penny for thoughts, please, because I'm worried about you.”“Nothing bothers me, dad. I was just thinking about my life and how grateful I am,” I replied.“So, what are you grateful for?” he asked, and I took a deep breath before looking him in the eyes.“I’m just grateful for how my life has turned out thanks to meeting you, Mum, and my amazing friends. I kept wondering what my life would have been like without you all. I would have been miserable and helpless, if not dead. Thank you, dad, I love you,” I said.I was lying to him yet again. The truth was that I had the same nightmare about my parents dying, but this time it was different because the vampire king was there and he was the one doing the killing, and this time he smiled at me as he approached me, dragging the bloodied sword on the ground. I shivered in fea
CHLOEThe drive to school was quiet. Damien didn’t ask what was wrong or why I wasn’t resting as much as I should have; instead, he remained silent, clearly not wanting to bother me or intrude on my personal space. I felt bad for keeping things from him. I knew he worried about me right from when I was growing up.I wasn’t allowed to do things that kids my age did. I wasn’t allowed to leave the house; I had to stay close by so they could keep an eye on me. I thought they were protecting me at first because of what had happened in the past, but even now they kept their eyes on me as if I were still a child; I was twenty-one years old but was still treated as if I were an eight-year-old child. It made me suspicious. I began questioning their every move regarding my decisions, and each time I asked both of them, they always gave me the same answer, as if it were scripted.“The world isn’t as peaceful as it once was. We have no idea when the vampire king will strike again. We only have yo
CHLOE“Hello, mates. My name is Grayson Smith, and I’m a member of the group.”“Fuck!!” Before I could stop myself, the words were already out of my mouth. This was not what I wanted. It was wrong having him as a groupmate. Was the universe pulling a fast one on me? The universe already knows I don’t like vampires, especially ones like him, who don’t know how to apologize when they are wrong. He’s bad news, and he’s going to slow down our work, causing us to fall behind schedule. Then he dared to bring a blonde who wasn’t ready to let go of him. The sight of them disgusted me, and I demanded that they leave the group or I would have to leave. In any case, I couldn’t stand him. “What strings did you pull to get yourself into my group? Isn’t it bad enough that you’re already getting on my nerves, and now you’ve brought your Bambi here to annoy and slow us down?” I slammed my fist against the desk.“Take it easy, tiger,” Axel said, trying to calm the situation.“It’s Scarlett, and why s
CHLOEIt’s been three days, and the project is coming along nicely. I expected it to be difficult having both of them around, but Grayson had given me the space I needed, probably because he knew his presence was making me uncomfortable.I was relieved he wasn’t coming around too frequently, only when he needed to submit the ones he'd written to Axel, who would then forward it to the group. The only problem was Bambi. She kept putting off the work and asking everyone to help her. It was exhausting, but Diego was willing to help her while all she did was make a fool of herself around Grayson.I sighed and leaned against my locker. I was completely exhausted. Being a leader was not an easy task. I had to put every piece of work on the slide that would be presented on Monday, and some work was still incomplete.“This is going to be an exhausting day for me,” I said to no one as I opened my locker to get my books for today’s classes.I hadn’t been able to sleep all night. I had been up la
GRAYSONI should be on my way home to meet with my father to report on my school activities and how seriously I’m taking my schoolwork to avoid being watched by him or being told to return home and relocate to another city. I didn’t want to be so far away from home. I wanted to be close by, to feel the presence of mother nature.Yes, I was supposed to go home to my father and report to him, but I found myself back in her room. This was the eighth time I’d done this, wandering around and ending up in her room, but today her room was empty and the smell of her shampoo lingered, indicating that it hadn’t been long since she left. Her pheromones and everything about her aroused me. This shouldn’t be happening to me, and I shouldn’t feel this way about her.I had been watching her every move and knew everything she did, her daily routine, where she went after school if her father didn't pick her up, what time she finished her assignment, what time she was on her phone, and when she went t
GRAYSON“Son, be careful out there. It has begun.”I hadn't expected a message from my mother, let alone one like that. I kept staring at the message because I couldn't figure out what she meant by “it has begun.” I tried calling her, but her phone number was not connecting.I couldn’t stop wondering what had happened and what danger lay ahead, but I didn’t want to get entangled in whatever danger was lurking around; I just wanted to have fun without encountering anything.I had just put my phone in my pocket and was about to descend the stairs when I felt someone tugging at my clothes. When I turned around, I was surprised to see Chloe holding my shirt.“What the hell? What the fuck do you want now?” I questioned her.“I came here to apologize to you,” she said as she averted her gaze from mine.“Huh?”“I apologize for accusing you wrongfully. I assumed you were the one who wrote it, given that you have been bullying me, stealing my things, asking your friends to tease me, and callin
CHLOEAfter my run-in with Grayson, I told myself that avoiding him was the best thing that could happen to me. Today being the day of the presentation made me smile. The group would be dissolved after today, and I would be back with just my friends. There would be no Grayson or Scarlett to ruin or irritate me.“Are you ready, Chloe?” Trisha called out.“Yes, Mum, I’m coming down right now,” I yelled, running down the stairs to find Damien and her already seated and waiting for me. After greeting them, I sat next to Trisha and we ate our breakfast quietly. Breakfast was unusually quiet, with neither of them speaking or bickering as they usually did.It was a strange sight to see. This was the first time I was having a peaceful breakfast. A breakfast without Damien teasing me and Trisha rescuing me. I wanted to ask because I had a feeling something was going on.Damien cleared his throat just as I was about to say something. “I’m sorry, but I won’t be able to pick you up from school to
