CHLOE

I was awakened by the sound of a machine beeping. As I looked around my surrounding, I knew I was lying on a bed but I felt something heavy on my hand as. My arm had gone numb. The only sensation I felt in my hand was electric waves that were caused by a lack of blood flow.

I turned my head to see what it was and was surprised to see Trisha’s head as the culprit. I was surprised as to why she was sleeping here rather than in her room. Only then did it occur to me that I wasn’t in my room; there was nothing in my room that made a beeping sound like that.

Looking around properly this time, I realized I was in a hospital. ‘How did I end up here?’ I last remembered waving goodbye to Amalia, Axel, and Diego. I tried to stand but was unable to do so due to a sharp pain in my stomach. ‘How the fvck did I get hurt and bandaged? What happened to me?’ I pondered. I tried to mind-link Ghost but was unsuccessful. Something seemed to be blocking the mind link, preventing me from reaching her
