Virtuous Women

After leaving the restaurant we get into the car to go home. Kota turns on some music and a song that sounded really pretty came on, I was so mesmerized that I almost completely forgot about the incident moments ago.

(Such a pretty song, the girl singing it has a beautiful voice.)

Kadachi broke the silence with a low sigh.

"Kairi?"

I look at him seeing a serious yet calm expression across his face.

"Yes?"

He stares at me for a long moment, he seemed to be thinking intently before finally speaking again.

"When you feel comfortable enough, id like to talk to you about some things. Can you promise me that you will try to settle in?"

(Why is he asking such a question? Have I been that standoffish?)

I blush a little feeling a bit embarrassed. I nod and turn away from him.

"Sure."

(Kadachi pov)

I smirk upon hearing her answer.

(The things I so badly want to ask her are probably to much for her to think about right now. So for now, I'll just wait and try to make her feel more comfortable.)
