Ike’s povIke could hear faith arguing with Olu about not letting her enter the house. He gave instructions saying he did not want to be disturbed, but somehow he can’t seem to get away from her. Ada's povAda was not sure if she was just tired or really disappointed in how the room looked. She was not expecting much but what she was standing inside of was not a place any human could stay. The room was full of dust, the curtains looked so dirty like they had not been washed for days, the bed was not laid, the air conditioner seemed to be malfunctioning and to top it off, the television in the room was not working. Ada tried her best to not cry. Maybe it was a mistake to have left Ike. She has tasted the good life and now she can’t seem to adjust back to the kind of life she lived all her life.
