31. Temptations

Caesar's pov

I wanted to soak my soul in her mind, feel the vortex of her inner needs and desires, listen to the rhythmic sound of her joys and sorrows, and tiptoe on the matrix of her dreams and longings.

I wouldn't believe the depth in her heart until the day I felt her essence, but in a strange way, I felt like I knew her inner needs and desires last night.

She was beautifully mysterious, more like a puzzle. But I was ready to resolve its every piece even if I was going to get trapped in its mystery.

Maybe she wasn't a puzzle at all, I just needed time to understand her more and I think I was starting to.

She slept too peacefully on my bed it almost made me envious at how soundly she slept without a care in the world. But that was not it, it was the smile that slowly formed on her lips as she slept. It's how that smile created chaos in my heart and how it messed up my mind. But it was also the same thing, which every time silenced the storms and calmed down every demon inside me w
