All my life, I always wanted to know how it feels to have someone you can call daddy or dad, mummy or mama. Unfortunately, I was denied that when I was five years old.The inevitable lump that always grew on my throat when walking along the aisles of supermarkets, hospitals, bookstores... Let's just say it was too painful.'Mummy I need that toy.' 'Dad, that's not the book that we were told to buy, that's the wrong one.' 'Mama I don't want them to inject me, it's too painful.'Those are some of the things I could hear kids tell their parents along the so mentioned aisles. And I could hear responses like,'Pick whichever toy you want then baby or baby you have way too many toys, why can't you use the ones back at home first.' I'm sorry baby, then which book is it?' 'It is not going to be painful, I'll be holding you the whole time and I'll kiss you better after'You know what made that a tad bit more painful? It's because Mr and Mrs Johnson were never even guardians to me, they were never there for me. They never cared about me, that makes me wonder why they volunteered to take me in.I wanted a mother who could kiss my wounds better like my mother, Isabella used to when I was a kid. I wanted a father who could keep carrying me on his shoulder like how my father used to. A father who could tell me bedtime stories, who could sing me lullabies and more importantly who could scare boys away from me while growing up.Unfortunately, I never got a chance to have a person who could be that for me. Maybe it was meant to be so. For me to suffer, to be haunted by the ghosts of my past, to be reminded of that fate night, when that gigantic man walked into our home, wearing a holster over his shoulder, a holster I believe concealed the gun he used to shoot both of them.It kills me everytime I think about it. It haunts me. Those gore image in my head...I was there, watching them fighting for their lives as that monster in a black mask over his head kept hailing bullets on them. He'd killed my nanny first because she was the one who opened the door for him thinking he was some delivery man.Everything happened so fast while I stood glued behind our coach. Mummy had put a finger over her lips, silencing me before they got shot. In a shudder state, I still stood there even after he left them lying in their cold blood, in our sitting room. I don't know how I found myself in the hospital the following day, they said I was having aftershocks.Mr and Mrs Johnson, used to be close friends to my parents, they volunteered to take me in since we had no close relatives.Three years, three freaking years, that's what it took me to speak again.I never went to school like any normal kids, no. Mr and mrs Johnson got me a tutor at home. That's how I grew up, not going to school but being homeschooled. They told me how Caesar had killed my parents because he wanted to take over their Oil refineries limited company. The company he grew up from, the company he spread it's branches all over the world, making him the remarkable tycoon he really was. It's the only thing they kept reminding me about whenever I faced them.So when I turned twenty years old that's when I was unleashed. That's when I got exposed to the world. That's when I saw those kids along the aisles making me jealous. That's when I started spying on Caesar.I so wanted to know everything about him.I found out that he's just twenty eight making me wonder, I was five years old when my parents got killed, Caesar was eight years older than me. How is that even possible? The man who killed my parents was well built and tall. A thirteen year old boy wouldn't have been that gigantic.I was reminded again that Mrs Johnson had told me that Caesar's parents were the world criminals, so it's possible that Caesar's father was the one who killed my parents. In my research I found out that both his parents died in a road accident, left Caesar at age nineteen and her sister Cherry, who was my age mate, she was eleven when they died.I had to find a way to get into Caesar's personal life. I needed to know more about him. I can't kill, so I wanted to kill him emotionally not physically.Leaving Mr Johnson's mansion, I told them my plan of bringing Caesar down and frankly, I've never seen their big grins weirdly being offered to me. Not once in my life, had they ever smiled at me, let alone talking to me about anything. The only thing they were good at was reminding me of how the Banley killed my parents. Which is good. Not complaining. It's good to be reminded of the person who killed your parents right?I had to find a place to stay at while doing my spying. I had no savings, the little money they had given me, was as good as just fare from Rochester to Bronx.I put on my best smile and asked around for a way to the Banley's estate. Because, let's be honest with each other, there's no point of biting around the bush, I had to conjure up enough courage and face my enemy. The man I hate with all my guts. Given the power, I would kill him without second thoughts. But what would that make me? I had asked myself that question. That will make me no different from him and I didn't want to stain my hands with another man's blood.I was directed to the Banley's estate, walking under the evening sun, trekking. I was only wearing black toms, a white cashmere sweater and faded black jeans. My hair was tied up in a messy pony tail and my face was already covered in sweat. I didn't even try to look good, I was probably not going there for good riddance. But all in all I was going their for riddance, ejection. You will be surprised to see the place where Caesar was coming from. The Johnson mansion was nothing compared to what I was seeing. It was a freaking palace, or can I say some sort of paradise? It was fenced with a white wall that was made up of stones, build up high and topped with barbed electric wires.Being the curious naive girl that I was, I took a peek through the open gate. Oh boy, the house was a three storey building, very monstrous, freaking the shit out of me.I approached the gate man who stood there in all his glory looking as scary as death. I still conjured up all the strength I had and greeted him,"Good evening, sir." I bowed down a little to show him a tad bit of respect rolling my eyes as I did so."Good evening young lady, how may I help you?" His voice was gruffy but all polite unlike his facial expression."Any job available here? I'm hunting for a job sir." Politely, I replied pulling my best puppy look."I'm sorry ma'am." He replied casually dismissing me. " Banley junior doesn't employ people here. He only has one general maid for him. She's the chef and everything here. And there's only one man who does the plumbing stuff, shearing, weeding flowers, cutting grass and such..." He looked apologetic. The stunt look I had pulled really worked.I faked a face fall, tears also gathered up in my eyes at the same time. "I thought I was going to be lucky after a long week of job hunting." I almost cried. Not." I'm really sorry." He replied apologetically. Before I could reply back, I heard a loud honk, looking behind me, there was a red audi .I was going to question Caesar's sanity for driving a red car but my mind went into a turmoil when a very beautiful barbie girl came out. She was blonde with a charismatic smile on her face. She looked sophisticated and for a moment there I regretted standing on their holy grounds.Except not...Tbc...Caesar's POVTwo years ago, one could have given me a picture of the life I was currently living and I'd have totally trashed them for dreaming so furiously and intense. Something so unreal and the Caesar back then sure wouldn't have seen himself here.I felt like I had accomplished everything in life. I was a happy man with a full warm household. It was on a Tuesday a few days after Cherry's graduation which was a success. I felt so much sated and it was an achievement and an accomplishment altogether for me as a brother, seeing my sister grow and graduate among the top in her class with honours. I almost cried when I heard her name being called during the diploma issuing and now my Marvelous had literally cried an ocean ruining all the make up on her face. She was a mess and I totally blamed her pregnancy hormones.I walked into the kitchen and saw marvellous fighting with utensils and it made me chuckle. She was trying to reach for something in the cabinets and she eventually got
Chloe's POVIt was on a Friday and it was finally Cherry's big day, she was graduating and we were all so happy to be there for her. I was supposed to wake up get ready as it'll take time for me to do a small make up especially to hide my so pregnantyy nose. But I only woke up to the sweet, throbbing yearnings Caesar's hands were invoking in me. I felt his hand on my breast caressing and teasing my so sensitive nipples as his warm body pressed against mine in an erotic embrace that made me breathless with intense pleasure. A soft purr escaped my slightly parted lips when I felt his hand on my protruding tummy, creating a burning inferno on my skin. It stayed like that for a while and then it traveled down my body and slipped in between my legs, and he gently caressed my inner thigh. Caesar had just gotten back from a business trip he had taken to North Carolina. It was a four day business trip but I had greatly missed him. He had cut down the trip since it was supposed to take six da
Two months laterChloe's POVHow everything took a 360° turn on me, I was yet to discover. Mondays were the worst days of the week, okay Monday is the worst day of the week, there.I'd manipulated Caesar's office computer for the past two hours waiting for time to pass by but I was now ragged and jagged and all I wanted to do is nap away if not for Anley who might be getting back from school and get stranded given that Martha and Cherry were not in the house to receive her.I hate this Monday, the voice in my head kept repeating those four letter words. Caesar had dropped me at home around lunch time after my antenatal clinic which went well given the fact that I was now eating a meal that should really be pertinent for three. My tummy was now protruding something that wasn't of sign six weeks ago. It's like I wasn't feeding this miraculous baby and now that I was given the multivitamin gummies and appetite boosters, I was doing it the right way. She really was growing too first.Toda
Caesar's POVAs soon as the words left her mouth, I had already strutted to the said door that read room 359 and I had straightaway opened the door, matching in and walking into a nurse and a doctor, I suppose. "Sir we'll call you once all her vitals have stabilized." The man I assumed to be the doctor said."The heck!" I barked startling them. "How is she, why is she asleep?" I was loosing it. My Marvelous Chloe looked like a dead person. I couldn't see her heartbeat. She laid still on the bed as if that would make me keep my cool."She's going to wake up, we sedated her but she'll be okay." She had a huge bump on her forehead which made me curse out loudly."How is she?" I was trying, they should have seen how hard I was trying to keep my cool."She's fine, she had a minor concussion and I think she was in shock when they brought her here. She's almost waking up. The baby is okay too, I'm glad she was rushed here soon enough, with the bleeding, we could have lost them both." The doc
Caesar's POVNow that my meeting with Mr Edward had come to an end and I'd closed the deal that had been incessant on my mind over a week, I felt like I can breath easily and all I had to do was pack up and go spend a night with my Marvelous. The smile on my face was so huge as I passed my employees at the lobby, marching to my car with graceful long strides. I couldn't wait to get home. Home felt like home even much more now that I had Chloe and Anley.I never even imagined becoming a dad and honestly it has never felt more blissful before. I liked every bit of being Anley's dad and I loved the fact that everyone had accepted and welcomed her warmly. And my forgiving marvelous had loved her even deeper, I felt it, more reason to why I loved her even more.I'd revved up my engine, moved past my parking lot and now on the road when my phone speakers blared with loud music. I usually use a vibrator mode, what the! It was that cunning Chloe. I took time to listen to 'pillow talk' by Zai
Chloe's POV "You have a meeting?" I raised a brow."At 2." "It's fourteen minutes to four Caesar.""What?" His eyes bulged out. I just looked at him plainly trying to gauge him. Fuck, I shouldn't have come?!" I can't believe we've been going at it for more than two hours." He started laughing. Oh it wasn't that big of a deal. And I found myself joining him although I was the one to cut myself first,"Seriously though, I'm not sure I can walk." I pouted making him draw me closer to him, kissing my pouted lips."Tonight I'll be home earlier, I'll give your inner thighs a hot deserved massage but one thing that you should know is that, we're going to be having a rerun of what we just had everyday and you're going to get accustomed to it all." A devilish glint glowed in his eyes and I knew that was a promise he was so intent on keeping."Now my shirt doesn't have buttons and I'll have to see me Edward since I made him flew earlier here because I was angry earlier." He snorted."What? Y
