part one: the devil's love

The devil is real.

And he’s not a little red man with horns and a tail. He is beautiful, and that's because he is a fallen angel and he used to be God's favorite.

Actually, the devil can be anyone. He can be two different people, different ages, different appearances all at once. I know all this because I’ve met him— I have met two, unfortunately.

The devil came in form of two powerful Kings.

They were beautiful. They were charming. They were loving and they were alluring. They were all those things until I saw their other side.

It was never my intention to cross paths with the devil. I was only a naïve nineteen year old, living a life that circulated around fame and money. Then, out of the blue, the devil came for me, or should I call him The King— which is a name he prefers to be addressed as. He showed up on a calm evening, and turned my entire life upside down; he turned it into a disaster.

He put me under his spell, making me fall deeper and deeper into his sinful charm. Then at the end, when he had gotten all that he needed from me, he devoured.

Well, there’s no surprise there. He is named the devil for a reason.

And despite the fact that I got dragged through their insane rivalry, I won’t change it for anything. I will choose this life over and over again. I want to feel the maddening pain and sweet pleasure those two Kings brought me in those few months. One may not understand what I mean by this until they hear my story. So, that’s what I’ll do, I’ll tell you my story, and who knows, you may even learn from it, because the devil is everywhere, but I do hope you never meet him, and I certainly do hope you don't meet two at once.

Part one, which are the chapters that come after this prelude, it will be the ‘calm before the storm’, where the main character is only acquainted with the first King. Part two, which starts at chapter twenty-one, this is where the main character gets involved with the two Kings, and gets trapped in the love-triangle. Part three will be the part of the book where everything starts to unfold, where new characters make their appearances, secrets are kept, and more truths are revealed. Part four holds the maddening effects of a forbidden love; this is where you see the flaws of the main characters and take a walk with them through their deepest, darkest desires. This book has been split into four parts for the purpose of telling the story more efficiently. Decided to put this information here for clarity's sake❤️)
