Jasper had gone off to practice. I was still in the library, I was stroking my arm with my hand as I replayed our conversation in my head.

The women in Jasper's family had all been given the gift of premonitions. Both a gift and a curse I guess you could say.

His mother had died, but maybe his sister could help me. I and Jasper had planned to meet up, after his practice, out by the garden. There was a gazebo out by the lake where we could sit in private without prying eyes and ears.
