LOGINCreed’s Pov.“Another week has gone by and we’re no closer to finding Lily,” I sigh, talking to Glenda.Lily's grandmother. She thought we’d be able to find what realm she’s in but she said something is keeping Lily hidden. She couldn’t detect any dark magic and thinks it’s even Lily doing it herself. “If she’s keeping herself hidden she has to have a very good reason for it,” she mutters, more or less talking to herself. It frustrated me at first, all I wanted was to find her but Glenda and I think she’s doing it for a reason, a reason we won’t know yet. I sigh almost dramatically for what feels like the millionth time. As I start pulling paperwork out to sort through, the last person I want to see comes into my office. “Father,” I say almost begrudgingly. I haven’t even seen him since before I found my mate, he knew I found her and knew about her ceremony and didn’t even show up. Imagine that. Instead he kept himself locked in his and my mothers matrimonial home. “What do you
Lily’s pov. Eight weeks. Eight fucking weeks. I’ve been counting down the minutes that tick by, my belly is already massive, making it harder to do anything. Hades comes and goes, his mood is always sour. He knows I want nothing to do with him right now and the healers told him it would be best if he kept his distance so as to not stress me out. The last thing they want is me to go into preterm labour or to have a miscarriage. I’m actually thankful for that, the last thing I want is to be around my kidnapper. Sighing to myself I slowly prop myself up on my bed, Sapphire still hasn’t talked to me since that night. I think about her everyday, if we’d still be in this place if I had her with me, if my powers weren’t dormant. I had felt something, my powers. They were coming back to me. My body was slowly filtering out the poison but it was like Sapphire is keeping them from me. I don’t know why but I trust her. She has to know what she’s doing, she must have a plan. And I intend to
Creed’s pov. After we showed Glenda around Lily and my room she had a faraway look on her face that perplexed Ryan and I. “I can’t sense her soul in this realm, Creed.” She says sadly, “it must mean she’s in another realm and that’s why you have not found her.”My heart starts to race in my chest and my mind reels, ‘another realm?’ I think to myself. Obviously we haven’t found her yet if she’s not even in our realm. “No wonder even the best trackers couldn’t find her, alpha,” Ryan says with a hint of hope. “How do we find which realm she’s in?” I ask, knowing it can’t be easy. Glenda has a sad, faraway look on her face as she answers me, “it’s not easy… one with the same blood can look into the realms and find her soul.”“One with the same blood…” I trail on, “Lily doesn’t have any living relatives that I know about.”“Ah, you see, that’s where you are right, child. No living relatives that either of you knew about…” she says softly, a gleam in her eyes, “that’s why I said I thin
Lily's pov. The healers are supposed to come look at me again today. She said my pregnancy is coming along great and I’m very healthy. The one healer, an older man with kind eyes and gentle hands, came to me one day. He looked at me with tender affection and grasped my hands in his while closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. When he opened his eyes he had a mischievous gleam in them and told me. “There’s multiple.”At first I didn’t understand, until later that night after he left and I laid in bed refusing to do anything, it hit me. Multiple. Babies. Two? Maybe three?I’m supposed to find out today, they’ve made a special machine that is hard to get in the underworld to check me out. It’s been eight weeks today. Everyday is harder for me, the only thing keeping me going is the life I’m growing, or lives I guess. I always wonder how Creed is doing, if he’s looking for me. If he’s moved on… I know I never will. And I’d rather die than be Hades beloved. He’s come here ofte
Creeds pov. “It’s been five fucking weeks!” I scream, while throwing everything off of my desk onto the floor with a loud crash. Alex flinches and Ryan just looks pissed off while Jason sits off by the window with a small smirk on his face that’s almost unnoticeable. I walk towards him like an angel of death, “do you have something to say?” I ask, deadly calm. “No, nothing at all,” Jason says, putting his hands up in mock surrender. I start pacing my office, gripping my hair with my hands. Fuck, fuck, fuck. Where could she be? Who could’ve taken her? Is she even okay? I keep asking myself all of these questions but every one keeps going unanswered. Every tracker, warrior or shifter I’ve sent to look for her has come back empty handed. I remember fighting beside her when all of a sudden I look behind me and she’s gone. I freaked out and started looking for her. Hunter followed her scent out into the forest but when we came upon a certain area her scent vanished into thin air.
Lily's pov. Three weeks later. My hands feel raw from the amount of scrubbing I’ve been doing. Hades has me cleaning every last inch of his castle and won’t let me leave a spot missed. He said “somebody needs to teach you a lesson or two.” Before he locked me in here, working me to exhaustion. I use the back of my hand to wipe the sweat that’s started to pool on my forehead. I’m starting to feel dizzy from all the work I’ve been doing. I start to stand on shaky legs when all I see is darkness and I collapse. When I open my eyes I’m blinded from the bright lights shining down into my face. Blinking rapidly and rubbing my eyes helps adjust to the brightness, when I open my eyes again I notice I’m in the room I was placed in. I hear the door open and look towards it and see a lady walking in. She smiles softly at me before speaking, “hello, I am a healer for the lord, he found you unconscious and had you brought here to be inspected. Congratulations, you are pregnant!”It’s lik
