The Last Werewolf

     Ash, short for Ashley will beturning 18 in just a few days. It's been pretty normal growing up. It's just been Ash, her mother and her grandfather for as long as she can remember. Unfortunately, she don't really know much about her father. All she knows is that he stopped coming around whenshe was only maybe 6 or 7 years old.

      Whenever Ash wasn't in school, her grandfather would take her to a family friends place, which is a farm with so many different kinds of animals, and of course her favorites are the horses. She lerned how to care for all the animals along with caring for her very own horse

     Ash loves going out on long trail rides. She would go along with some of the other people and go on weekend long camping trips with their horses. They would get everything set up along with a  really good camp fire, the ones with the horses would saddle up and head out for a afternoon ride. When they returned, they get the horses some food and water for the rest of the night.

     Gathering around the fire, they would all roast some hotdogs while listening to some of the stories the others we're telling. Some were just made up while others were just funny things that happened to them in the past. There is this one story that is always told called 'The Wolf People'

  (The Wolf People)

     Thousands of years ago, there was a tribe of people who lived in the deep parts of the forest known as the Wolf People. It's been said that these people had the ability to change or shape shift from human to wolf, also known as werewolves. They had been givin a bad reputation of being murderous beast, thanks to the humans who told such horrible lies.

     These werewolves were the descendants of the moon. A better way of explaining it would be that the moon was their own version of God. She was the one who created the werewolf breed herself. She was or is the Moon Goddess. It was said that she gave them a very special gift, the ability to feel or sense who their true mate is. Its called the mate bond which is avery strong feeling that either one would beable to feel when they are close to one another. Like what a soul mate would be for humans.

    The wolf people had many tribes or packs, as they were called. Each pack would have a male and a female leader who were known as the Alpha and the Luna. Then there are the Beta and the Gamma. Their jobs were to protect their Alpha and Luna and to also help with cake duties.

     As time went on, the humans started to hunt and kill werewolves for sport. The ones whowere able to get away found frfuge in the deep parts of the forest. The last known sighting was well over a hundred years ago

     Ash has gotten older since then and there have been many changes in her life now. Unfortunately, her grandfather had passed away a few years ago, then this past year she lost her mother to cancer. It's been very hard for her nut she is very lucky to have her life long best friends, Kime and Toni by her side.

     There are just a few days left till Ash's birthday and for the first time, she is actually excited because Kim and Toni are having a cookout and pool party that same day to celebrate the new house they all bought together. This evening the three of them are going to a bar-type place that has a huge game room.

     Once there, they ordered their meals and go over to the game room and play a couple games of pool. After about 3 games, the food finally arrives so they settle down at the table while they eat and watch for anyone else to show up to have their asses handed to them by Ash, since she was taught by one of the best pool players she knows which happens to be Kim's ex husband.
