Mercedes was looking at a little girl who was struggling with her own demons. All the anger she felt towards Yuna faded in an instant. Mercedes felt bad for her. She tried to reach out to her, but before she could touch her, she slapped her hand away.

With that, she ran out of the library. Mercedes sighed and took a seat. She knew that nothing would be easy, but she thought Yuna would become one of the obstacles in her way. After a little while, Mercedes retreated to her room. She was thankful that no one was there to witness that incident, or it would bring unwanted attention to her.

The next day, Mercedes noticed that Yuna wasn't attending classes. Perhaps it was for the best, she thought to herself as she continued with her day. She avoided going to the library in case Yuna might be there. Mercedes thought it would be best for her and Yuna not to meet so that she gets a chance to get over what she has done.
