CHAPTER 19

I made a series but weak knocks on the closed door of Wayne's room, , intending to take the snacks prepared by Manang Susan.

"Come in," Wayne said faintly from inside, and that was all I needed to hear to grab the doorknob and unlock it. When I opened the door, Wayne was the one who immediately welcomed my eyes, sitting in a swiveling chair in front of his desk with the woman perched on his thigh and then I also notice that her both hands were wrapped around to his neck.

I was taken aback by what I witnessed at first, especially since Wayne and the woman appeared unfazed by my presence. But, after attempting to recover from my shock, I decided to go inside. "Here are your snacks,"  whispered softly as I placed the tray I had brought into Wayne's room's little living area.

At that very moment, I felt like eyes were looking at me, it was either Wayne or that arrogant and haughty woman, but I tried to restrain myself from not paying
