Chapter fourteen

I lay there in the bed with my phone in hand.

I have been checking it every minutes for the past few hours but there was no notification coming on.

I have applied for more than ten jobs or maybe more, I just couldn't get count of them.

Some of them needed special qualifications while some didn't. I was hoping that I could at least get the ones that don't need any qualifications.

Yes, I remembered, I even applied for a waitress position in a five star restaurant and they notified me that they would get back to me in the next five days.

But it's been a week already and there's nothing for me to see.

I sighed as I rolled out of my bed.

I have been doing nothing for the past few days other than just eating food and applying for all kinds of jobs online and then back to sleep.

I was used to having a very active day all the time and now all this resting is making me feel tired and cramped up.
