"Beta, we have an urgent situation I would like to report to you." Erik bowed and informed Cassie whose mind was far away.

Ashina followed Hrolf's huge frame down the hallway towards his study. She laced her hands together behind her, wondering why he had called her again.

Was this the reason he was searching for when he called her the first time? Had he found it? She hoped that whatever it was, he released her as soon as possible so she could go back to meet Gael. She missed him a lot.

She let out a soft breath as he led her into the big office. She closed the door after her and whirled around to wait for him.

Hrolf circled his desk, taking in her slender figure in one gaze. He pushed the chair back and sat on it watching her rove her eyes around his study.

Ashina couldn't stop herself from taking in the beautiful spacious study. His study was ornately furnished with the finest of wood, richly carved in a style.
