Sunlight seeped through the window, flashing through Ashina's face as she stirred on the bed. A smile crept on her face when she thought about all that had happened early this morning.

She stretched out her hand to the other side of the bed with her eyes shut where she knew that Hrolf would be but was greeted with a space.

She frowned slightly before flipping her eyes open, the bed was cold which meant that Hrolf had been gone for a long time now, and although she knew that he was supposed to be at his office still, she had hoped that he would be by her side.

A gasp escaped her mouth when she stared at the room, her clothes were supposed to be littered but it seemed that Hrolf had cleaned up while she was asleep.
