The same dream

As evening arrived, I said goodbye to Daniella and watched her leave to stay at a hotel for the night. She didn't want to stay at my house because of Alison's disapproval, so she decided to maintain her distance and respect Alison's feelings.

When I entered my bedroom, I noticed that Alison was absent. It seemed that she hadn't yet moved past our recent argument and had chosen to stay away. Frankly, I didn't mind the idea either since I wasn't in the mood to engage in conversation with anyone.

I discarded my worn clothes and proceeded to the bathroom, intending to take a shower, allowing the warm water to wash away the stress and tension from the day. As the water cascaded over my body, I couldn't help but replay the events of the evening in my mind.

As I stepped out of the shower, wrapping a towel around myself, I kept repeating the words Daniella said to me, “She is the one. Don’t let her go.”
