2. Time to talk

Brianna's POV

She stares at me for what feels like forever before she says " Are you being serious? Because I really need this to be real" I nod my head. I tell her "my wolf Zalia feels drawen to your wolf and wants to meet her"and she smiles while nodding as she quickly agrees " yes we'd like that let's do that now before we get out of cover Nova is so excited." She runs behind a tree as do I. We strip and let our wolves take over. As I walk out from behind the tree I am shocked as I see her wolf and wow Nova is amazing. Her coloring is so unique I've never seen a wolf so pretty before. The best comparison I could have is a calico cat. She is a wolf version of a calico cat and I've never seen that before ever. My wolf is brown like my hair color. As we approach eachother the wolfs need no time they instantly run to eachother and Zalia tells me Nova is family and to me it feels right.

They nuzzle each other and play for a while I smile happy to see Zalia so happy. Eventually I take back control and walk to my cloths. I change back and get dressed she must of done the same because she comes out dressed right after me. We fall into step next to eachother and neither of us speak for a few minutes. Suddenly she stops and throws her arms around my neck surprised I hug her back then I realize she's crying and I pat her back as i say " Oh no what's wrong Annalise?" She crys for a while I decide to walk her towards my vacation home we can just order in. She obviously needs to talk and we should probably do it in private. See not everyone knows about werewolfs and it’s so much safer that way so private conversations are important.

We sit on my couch and she's barely looked up at this point I excuse myself and grab her a cup of water as she slowly seems to calm down. She looks up at me her eyes are red and swollen. She's hiccoping and shaking slightly. I hand her the cup of water and tell her I need to make a call to my family. I go to the kitchen im sure if she trys she could still hear me but it's not completely nessary to be private I was just trying to give her some space. Normally since it’s my pack and family I can mind link with them. However I cant mind link with them this far away they are all in Tennessee that's where our pack is located. I always call my parents and brother around this time.

I talk to them about everything quickly like everyday what I've done then about how zalia led me to this woman and how she's homeless and a werewolf and her break down in my arms. My mom is crying but my dad says to be careful it maybe an act I tell them how my wolf knows hers somehow or says they are family I don't understand it to be honest but my dad says " that doesn't happen often but it makes me feel better maybe she's trust worthy after all but still be careful" mom yells " Albert how can you just assume the worst always. Honey is she ok? what do you think we should do? Maybe we should try to help her." I explained that's what I was thinking my mom said " Thats my girl one day you'll make an amazing Luna. Let us know if you need anything We will help anyway we can. If things go well maybe she can come back with you and join our pack keep us posted." We say our I love yous and goodbyes.

I let Annalise know I have a few more calls to make I'll try to be fast. She smiles and nods at me I smile back as I dial my brothers number. Walking back in the kitchen he answers and he starts like always he tells me about the stuff he's learning and the lectures on how to be a good Alpha. I smile and say "when this is all said and done you should be the best Alpha ever considering you've learned from Dad, Grandpa and then all this other training" he snorts then laughs into the phone and asks what I've been up to so I explain the situation. He isn't happy at all but I don't know which part upsets him.

Me helping or her going homeless so I ask. He says " Fucking both you don't even know her but you told her our secret and brought her to our vacation condo and now mom wants her to come back to our pack?" He pauses fuming as he's breathing hard and I say " She's says If I think she's trust worthy I should yes." He growls into the phone " your always so trusting what if she's lying or using you what then? what If she hurts you or waits and hurts the pack?"

I shake my head knowing he can't see me but probably will know I did it anyway. He is always like this and I've never been wrong about a person before he just can't seem to see that. I sigh before I can speak he says "don't shake your head at me like I'm wrong. You and mom always trust everyone."

I knew he'd know I did that I take a deep breath to calm myself and say "Brian she's not dangerous I just know it and Zalia does too. She says there family i dont know why or how but i was meant to find her and im going to try to help her. Hopefully when you get home from Alpha training she will be part of our pack and family. " He sighs and mumbles "Ok i hope your right about it all. Your to much like mom not to help her so i hope shes as safe as you and Zalia think she is." I smile my twin is such a worry wart " I know I'm right this will be fine I'm sure" we talk some more about random stuff not for long though because I do have company.

I call and order multiple types of pizza,all flavors of wings, all there pasta types, salad, all the differrnt types of desserts they have , cheese sticks, bread sticks, any other odds or ends they offer and every type of pop they have on there menu. They say it will take a while She grumbles about the expense and the delivery issues they will have. They would need more then one person I say it's fine just try to be as quick as they can and there will be a big tip in it for the store. She asked if I was sure my bill was already high. I nicely tell her I could even triple it with no complaints if they are accurate and timely or if they'd rather I could call a different place. She said" no sounds perfect I'll call with updates and we will try to be as fast as possible."
