Naomi

I had eaten some soup and wrapped myself up in my furs. I was lead on my makeshift hammock swinging between two trees. I could see the stars here perfectly and they gave me something to day dream away to. Somewhere that was beautiful and far away from my daily life. I could hear another group of lads egging each other on to come and give me what I deserved. They weren’t close yet, they may not even make it to me tonight. Sometimes it took them a few nights to build up the courage to actually come here and attack me. The ones who were higher up in the pack came by themselves and they hurt me the most. They had the most to loose by not finding their mates and they took every inch of their anger at not finding them out on me. I was bruised and bloody when they left.

I heard a soft growl from just to my right and I shifted slightly to see the big wolf from earlier. I could smell my fear on the air and clearly so could he. My scent increased and so did his growl, his fangs were dripping saliva now.

“Hello you? Are you my knight in shinny fur?” the big wolf huffed at my joke clearly unexpected, it stopped the growls though and he padded over to me. Slow so I knew he wasn’t a threat. I felt calm and wanted, which was a new feeling for me.

He rubbed his nose on my hand. My hand instinctively went to his fur on the side of his head as I stroked him like a big puppy dog.

“Why are you here? Your not my mate, heck I don’t even have a wolf yet! And come on... its not like I’m a catch is it? Who would want the only fat werewolf in existence.”

Old pain flooded my system, the countless wolves. All rejecting me, almost all hurting me due to their anger that they were being made to even stand in my presence.

“I just want to be at peace you know? Just a tiny spark of a star high above all this pain. Can you give me that?” I turned completely to look at the wolf next to me. Pleading with my eyes.

“Please?” I whispered. The night was getting cold and I pulled my furs up high around me.

He leant his head further into my hand and licked my wrist with a sorrowful whimper.

“I can’t do it anymore. I just want peace.” I listened to the wolves coming closer. My big protector left my hand and stalked into the forest, he was a beautiful silver and white wolf. Clearly very high ranking in his pack, he was huge and dominant. His white fur shimmered in the moon light, his massive paws making thumps when he stepped onto the ground. Even without a wolf I knew he commanded, he definitely wasn’t an omega or even lower like me. I had no idea why he had taken pity on me. I was to grateful that he had to ask questions. Maybe, even for a few days if he was visiting he could stop the attacks. Maybe even permanently stop them? Yea and a girl can dream. He’ll leave in a day or so and they’ll be even worse. One of the wolves had tried to stop them before, he was removed from our pack real quick by Karen. I have no idea what I’ve done to make her hate me so much.

The growls came first and the shouts as my pack wolves realised they were being hunted. The stench of their fear filled the air making me wince. I would not feel sorry for men who plan to hurt me being the ones who end up hurt.

He didn’t drag it out I heard the thumps as he took each one out. Guilt rose up in my throat again, but I shoved it down. They wouldn’t feel the same for hurting me.

“You fat fucking whore” those words would forever haunt me. No matter if I had protection from them or not. The damage was already done.

When my saviour stalked out the woods he was human, he had clearly taken one of the males shorts and they looked hilarious on him. They’d split up the sides causing frayed parts to hang below the knees. He was about six and a half foot tall, lean but well muscled. Bright white blond hair, his coat colour made sense now. His face was chiselled to perfection just like a vampires, almost to perfect to look at. As he came closer he held his hands up.

“You have nothing to fear from me, women are not my thing.” He cocked a cheeky smile bringing out his dimples. I laughed unexpectedly which shocked me. His face fell instantly.

“Sorry, that took me by surprise. I haven’t had anyone smile at me for a really long time.” Suddenly my eyes filled with tears and I felt my bottom lip quiver like a five year old. Oh goddess how embarrassing. I held my head in my hands trying to hide my reaction. I felt his hand on my back, just there supportive and solid.

“We need to leave.” His words entered my head but didn’t register what they were until he said it again.

“Miss, we have to go!”

“Naomi.” Was all I could mutter as i forced my head up to look at him. “What do you mean leave? For where and why?” I sounded way more shrill than chill and that was not what I was going for. I needed to try to remain calm or he might abandon me. I’m being given an escape route, my brain was finally catching up to what my ears had heard. I didn’t want him to think I was more trouble than I was worth but honestly what was I even worth at this point? At that thought suspicion cast in.

“Why?” I asked the suspicion clear in my voice. Never look a gift horse in the mouth, but then never go into the unknown with a werewolf either.

He seemed genuinely put back and offended.

“Cause we don’t abuse our women! We nurture them!” he scoffed and headed inside. His long strides taking him to my hut in 3 steps.

“Come on what do you need?” I nearly fell of the hammock.

“No,no,no please please I’ll do it.” I didn’t want him to see what they had done inside. That was curtesy of the she wolves as well. I was to late and he already had stepped inside. His low growl sounded so angry I wasn’t sure I wanted to follow anymore so I kind of skidded to a halt outside the door. He turned stepped out and slammed the door behind him.

“Do you have anything that holds any sentimental value?” I shook my head and Karl drew out a pack of matches.

“No one will ever see this again! They will not touch you again Naomi do you hear me!” I quickly nodded in shock at how angry he was. He went inside and grabbed whatever fabric he could as he lit the matches and set the fabric on fire.

“I’m not sure why the moon mother sent me to you Naomi.” He huffed. “Apart from the obvious anyway.” He gestured the surrounding area.

“But she did send me here to protect you. My wolf has a need so strong to protect you it feels like your my baby sister.” He cracked his neck withholding the change his wolf must be demanding.

“As long as I’m with you, this will never happen again! Those rats will wake up soon, I only stunned them. So we have to leave before they do, as I have a feeling they won’t take kindly to you going.” He left the hut that was now ablaze and he started walking with those really long strides of his. I had to jog to keep up and then I was out of breath within a minute.

“I have no idea why they wouldn’t want me gone? It feels like they’ve wanted that for years.” I wheezed as I tried to keep up. I could see a car parked just as the houses started, it had a northern pack license. So it must have been his.

I nearly slammed into him as he whirled round and grabbed me gently by the arms.

“If I’m right, then they’ve done it on purpose to keep you enslaved to never reach your full potential and to finally off yourself.” Karl could see the truth of that statement on my face as he closed his eyes and the grip on my arms tightened as he fought control of the beast.

“What?” he cut me of with bright gold eyes staring back at me.

“No time, get in and let’s go before they realise.”

We both ran to the car, one of us got there alot quicker than the other.

  • The Lost Alphas Daughter    I've never missed

Karl I’d sent scouts out at 4am this morning to travel to the boarder incognito and see if there were West pack members patrolling. As I got all the pack members who were coming with us situated in their positions for our convoy down, the scouting team called me. “Hello boss.” That was Eric he has always called me boss. Becoming a werewolf late in life made the older ones a stickler for law and order. They were big on ranks and their place in them. To old to challenge and move up, they liked to keep order in our ranks. They often demonstrated this by calling us higher rank wolves boss or Sir. They say it shows respect and is the example they expect to be followed. It made my life easier with the youngsters even though it didn’t feel right that a seasoned federal agent of fifty years was calling me boss. But who was I to complain. And our seasoned federal agents were the best at this type of scouting mission. “Hey Eric, how we doing over there?” I asked him as I rallied the wolve

  • The Lost Alphas Daughter    Meetings vs mate

AlecI was in the meeting room with all the high ranking wolves from each pack, trying to get our strategies in place for the West territory mission.Karl and Julian were about to come to blows if I didn’t deescalate the conversation. Julian felt that by law we should be informing them of the charges we are accusing them of and the actions we plan to take. As this has never happened before we have zero prior events that we can mirror. Karl’s point is why on earth would we bother to forewarn them when we are the whole council going against them. They’re crimes against wolves in their own pack are unspeakable we all agreed to that and we would give away our advantage allowing them to run. Allowing the few who have ruled the West to run, they wouldn’t take the lesser wolves. Or even worse use the lower pack members as hostages. This was the last part we had to iron out and we were all trying to keep tension from escalating. The history books don’t give us hope in regards to worki

  • The Lost Alphas Daughter    It's you

Naomi I’d slept a little bit longer after my breakfast feast. The way I just scoff down food in front of Alec and feel a million percent comfortable with my curves and body shape is still utterly insane to me. I could however smell myself when I woke up again and Alec wasn’t with me in bed. I could hear the shower as my mind caught up to being awake. I was feeling bold and Alec had told me last time that I was definitely wanted in his shower, I felt bold enough to remove my clothes at the bed and head straight to the shower. I knew I’d made the right decision before I’d even opened the door. Our mate bond told me Alec was happy with me getting closer to him and when I opened the door to walk in he had wiped a steam free peephole on the shower glass. I couldn’t see much apart from his eyes but I felt his smile and the appreciation of my naked walk to him. Now I was feeling really bold and I swayed my hips more strutting my way as I got closer to the shower. This was a brazen and new

  • The Lost Alphas Daughter    Alpha Alec

Naomi Alec carried me back towards the pack house. He was struggling with seeing me wounded, as soon as he had ordered everyone to do what Alec needed them to do he was picking me up and heading home. Nothing was standing in the way, every pack member along the way was growled at. I was having to apologise for his snarling outbursts. Most of the men laughed quietly and a few even said, “sorry wrong time” with a knowing smile on their faces. I was starting to understand that the males of our pack understood exactly what their alpha was going through and they sympathised with him a lot. I wonder how many of our females were fighters and got hurt regularly. “I can walk you know!” I said to him and I got a look from him in return. I wasn’t to sure if I’d just insulted him or if I’d just REALLY insulted him. But instead of treading carefully I poked the bear. “Maybe if you just take a minute?” I tried a different tactic to calm him down and that got me pinned against a tree and his n

  • The Lost Alphas Daughter    Heavy weight

NaomiI slowly made my way into the water at the bottom of the water fall. Washing the dirt and blood from me. A nice brownish red cloud surrounded me in the previously clear water. It felt a lot colder now than it had when I went through the waterfall. I stayed in there for a time allowing my wounds to heal. It kept me nicely out the way as Alec, Julian and a few of my southern warriors to shift back to human and sort the legalities out. That was all boring human stuff that I wanted no part of until I had to. So I laid down on a ledge inside the water. Becca had shifted and so had Karl, having been around them for a good length of time I realised that their friendship worked like an old married couple. Becca hadn’t confirmed to me directly but I believe she’s gay the same as Karl and they have a very close friendship that I think will hold until one finally finds their mate. For gay wolves it’s not as easy to find them. So when they both emerged jumping out from behind the w

  • The Lost Alphas Daughter    The leap

NaomiI sailed through the water fall, Becca’s timing was obviously perfect. Luke’s back was to me and his head was down as he tried to work out where I'd gone. I managed to land on his back and dig my claws into his fur tearing skin and hitting muscle before he could even move. Now I started to draw power and draw heavily from both packs. This is what me and Alex had spent a lot of time on. For me to draw and shift like he did. I wasn’t on Luke’s back for long I was flung of within seconds. But I’d done damage and he was bleeding. I drew more and more power and I saw the moment he knew what I was doing as I concentrated my energy draw from the south and in particular my higher ups who were all around here. Luke was the closest so naturally he was inflicted the most. Luke knew the pack would come, me drawing on not only the south but the norths pack as well meant they would both come. Both had recieved the call. This meant that Luke had to up his game. They weren’t far away and
