I tossed and turned for the remainder of the night, I could not stop thinking about what had happened; how a happy occasion turned into such a sad occasion, my family was starting to fall apart, and I had no idea to get to the bottom of this. I got out of bed at first light, I stood on the bedroom terrace, I felt strong arms around me, Nic had woken up,
“What’s the matter dear?”
“How could you exile our daughter?”
I moved his arms off me and stood to face him, he was shocked that I questioned his leadership and Alpha position,
“Athena, had it been anyone else what would you have me do?”
“Give them a chance to explain before dishing out a punishment”
I could see Nic’s wolf taking over; Striker felt challenged by me and Nilsa was stirring at the surface,
