32 An Impulsive Decision
"I already told my mom I and Geoff can't visit her today. She is not expecting to see me. Maybe she already made plans with the neighbors. I also told Geoff I will wait until he's free and we can go there together." I told Michael who seems to be so focused on his driving.
"I'm afraid we can't go back now Miss Myers. I am merely following instructions." He said smiling. How can he still smile until now? If he told me earlier that we will go to my mom's place, I should have brought some of my stuff. I prepared a gift for my mom, but I couldn't give it to her now.
"Is this still part of your prank? Please stop it now, it's not funny anymore." I asked, almost begging. I love surprises but this one is making me feel scared.
