Zara

Alpha Caleb continued to send for me every night. Even the omegas started talking and getting jealous. And every morning after sleeping with him, I would receive the beating of my life from my sister and her guards.

I didn't know how to refuse the Alpha. As far as I knew, anyone who dared to say no to an Alpha was put to death or forced to live a life that made them wish for death every second.

Only Eva was there to talk to me, telling me that everything would soon be over.

Eva and I became close friends. She was fun and cheerful. We shared our stories. During one of our talks, she revealed how she had rejected her own mate just to be with Alpha Caleb. She said Alpha Caleb was her type of man and had been her crush since childhood.

She told me she met him and his mother at an amusement park. She had lost her favorite pin, and Alpha Caleb found it and gave it back to her. Since then, her heart belonged only to him.

From her story, I sensed the desperation of many omegas to have Alpha Caleb. It felt like a competition. I knew Alpha Caleb was good in bed, but I couldn't be with a man who slept casually with so many women.

I couldn’t bring myself to tell her I was an Alpha’s daughter. Instead, I told her I was just an omega from the Crimson Pack. She said she knew the Crimson Pack well because her late mother had also served there as an omega.

One morning, I overslept because I had worked all through the night.

“Zara, Zara!” It was Eva’s voice.

“Oh, Eva, just one more minute, please,” I mumbled.

“Get up, Zara! Alpha Caleb sent for you!”

I couldn’t wait for the words to sink in. I jumped up instantly. “What do you mean, Eva?”

“Alpha Caleb asked you to come to his palace.”

“What did I do this time?” I couldn't remember doing anything wrong, but my rights were always wrong in people's eyes.

“Hurry up, Zara!”

I stood up and followed her to the palace. When we arrived, I saw Alpha Caleb talking seriously with an unknown man. The man was young and strong; he must be an Alpha, judging from his looks. Elisa was sitting beside Alpha Caleb.

“You sent for me, Alpha,” I said, bowing before them.

“Sit down,” he said. I wondered if I heard him right, but he repeated it. I quickly took a seat.

“This man here is the Alpha of the Moonblood Pack. He is here to take you as his Luna.”

Is this real? How could an Alpha I had never met be asking for my hand in marriage? How did he know where I lived and whom to ask?

None of it made sense, but the only thing I could hold onto was that my prayer of leaving the Duncan Pack had been answered. I could finally be free of this hell.

“What is your answer, Zara?” Alpha Caleb asked, locking his eyes with mine. I quickly looked away, too confused to speak.

“Zara,” the Moonblood Alpha spoke up. “My name is Oliver, Alpha of the Moonblood Pack. Caleb and I have been friends since childhood. You might not know me, but I know you very well. I promise to be a good and caring husband to you.”

Looking at him, he was just as attractive as Caleb. His voice was sweet, and somehow, his promise convinced me. I knew Caleb would never promise a woman such a thing. I looked at Caleb again, but I couldn't read his expression; he was just watching me. Elisa didn’t say a word, but she was smiling the entire time, and I couldn't process why.

“Please marry me, Zara,” Oliver continued after a minute of silence, kneeling.

What? An Alpha kneeling? This was unbelievable. I stood up immediately, amazed.

That was how I accepted Oliver as my husband.

Yes, I accepted him to save my sister's marriage. At least Alpha Caleb would focus on the woman he married and stop using me as his nightly tool, which also gave the other omegas sleepless nights.

“What did you say?” Oliver asked, as if he hadn’t heard me the first time.

“I accepted your marriage proposal.”

He quickly stood up and hugged me. Elisa clapped her hands. I knew she was the happiest person when I was leaving the pack. While Alpha Caleb hissed as he stood up without a word and left the place.

My first mistake was thinking that Oliver’s act was how his personality was. I managed to get out of hell only to find out that there is a place hotter than that.

I was locked up in a room where only Oliver had access. He would always come up now and then to devour me; he was a beast with dark desires.

My hands would be tied up while I was naked. He would use a leather belt all over my body. Despite my pleas of pain, he would continue until he was satisfied, then start having sex like I was a robot that didn't have a say but did as instructed.

One night he came in as usual but was drunk, and I had already planned on denying him his routine, at least as his wife and not a robot. But I got my body taken away from me, leaving only my spirit.

He beat and beat until I fell to the floor, still holding myself tight. He pounded on me with his shoes. I felt like dying but still held on. He continued until he got tired. Only heavy breathing came from him. Then I had the shock of my life.

“Did you think I married you to have choices in my house? I married you because I was told you always slept with that idiot who calls himself Caleb.”

It dawned on me that everything was a trap and I was caught in it. Misery will never leave me. Still lying down in pain with blood gushing out of my body, I cried bitterly.

“If I had known that Caleb would give you easily to me, I wouldn't have agreed to come and get you from him because it seems you are nothing but a tool to him.” He punched me again with his shoe. This time it landed on my ear, which sent a painful wave through my eardrum.

This time I finally knew that if I continued to stay there, I would die, and no one would come for me. I weakly opened my eyes. The door was open, and Oliver was standing with his back to me as he growled in anger.

Seeing the opportunity, I stood up and with all my strength pushed Oliver, who wasn't expecting that. He staggered a bit because my strength was not strong enough to pull him down. But before he could know what was happening, I ran out of the door.

He felt a bit reluctant, maybe because I didn't know my way around and his guards were all over.

As a girl raised as an omega, I know there must always be an exit at the back for the Alpha's safety. So I struggled out carefully, avoiding meeting anyone, but just as I found the exit, I quickly ran towards it, making a sound that the closest guards heard and saw me.

They ran after me, but I ran as fast as my legs could carry me. Even though my speed was not fast at all, I still put my life on the line and ran, knowing fully well that getting back to that pack would be the end of me.

Seeing that the guards would catch me, I hid at a corner, and they ran past. As I tried to come out of my hiding and head to a different route, I sensed an angry growl, which frightened me.

I nearly fainted when I saw Oliver. He was standing close to my hiding place but couldn't see me. I held my breath.

Fortunately for me, he went back into the pack after standing for a few minutes. I started running again until I came to the main road where I was nearly hit by a car, and I blacked out.

Alpha Caleb I let Oliver take Zara as his wife. But now and then, I found myself thinking about her, as if I was regretting my decision, even though Zara was just an omega I could play with anytime I wanted. “Oliver is a calm and good man. He’ll take care of her,” I kept muttering to myself. I had known Oliver since our university days but we aren't that close as he said earlier “Anyway, whether he takes care of her or not, it’s none of my business.” “Alpha… Alpha!” Emi, my close Beta, called out, cupping his hands and bending close to my ear. He must have been calling me for a while, but I was so lost in thought that I hadn’t heard him. He had to lean close to avoid shouting. I woke up from my daze and looked around. Everyone was already leaving. I looked up at Emi. “Has the meeting ended?” “Yes, Alpha.” I didn't even know what had been discussed or decided during the meeting. “Alpha, you have an appointment with Alpha Uriel to finalize the land paperwork by 2 p

Zara We arrived at the Duncan Pack, where a welcome ceremony was held for Alpha Caleb and his new Luna, Elisa, by their head omega, Madam Vicky, who was Alpha Caleb’s favorite in the pack. “Take her to the omega’s quarter,” Alpha Caleb told Madam Vicky, who turned to look at me. “What kind of work do you do the most?” Madam Vicky asked as we walked towards the quarter. I do all the work back home, but cooking is what I like most, I thought. I was lost in my thoughts, and she had to ask again. “I said, Which work do you do the most?” Snapping out of my daze, I answered, “Cooking, Ma.” We reached the quarter. “Here is your corner,” Madam Vicky said, pointing to an empty bed. “Drop your bag, change into this uniform, and come to the kitchen immediately.” She handed me the clothes. I did as instructed. After getting directions from one of the omegas, I found the kitchen. “Oh, thank goodness I found you! Take this food to the Alpha’s room. I can’t find Eva, who was sup

  • The Luna-Alpha   Chapter one: The beginning

Zara Everyone in the pack was busy. Omegas like me were running up and down, arranging things and cooking for the guests. My father, Alpha Hazel, was greeting his friends from other packs. My mother was in her room, and my sisters were adorning themselves. Today was my eldest sister Elisa’s marriage ceremony. Alpha Caleb was coming to ask for her hand, and it was the happiest day my pack had seen in a long time. Alpha Caleb was well-known and one of the wealthiest Alphas I had ever heard of. He had many women around him, but he never married or named any of them his wife. But, today, he was here to take my sister as his Luna. The news that Alpha Caleb was finally getting married had spread throughout the packs. Many visitors came just to see who had won his heart. “Elisa, finest daughter of Alpha Hazel, are you not done dressing?” My mother called for my sister. My parents were overjoyed. Their favorite first daughter was marrying Alpha Caleb. My father had sent my mother
