Asher’s Point of View “I hate you.” Sienna snaps, glaring at me. “I love you too, baby.” I say softly and she narrows her eyes even more of that is possible. “I mean it, Asher!” Sienna snaps, gripping my hand so tightly I’m fairly certain she’s trying to break it. “I cannot believe I let you do this to me again!” “Hey, I didn’t do this alone." I argue carefully and she glares at me again. “You absolutely did.” She snaps and the nurse coughs softly like she is trying not to laugh. I lean closer to Sienna. “You’re doing amazing.” I say, wiping some hair from her face. “Don’t patronize me.” She snaps. “I’m not. You are...” “Don’t you dare say I’m glowing.” She says and I shake my head. “You are not glowing, more like glistening.” I say trying to lighten the mood, but it doesn’t work. She squeezes my hand again, hard, and I wince. “Okay, that one hurt.” I mutter. “Good.” She mutters. Another contraction hits and she groans loudly.
Asher’s Point of View “You’ll see soon enough.” She says it with that smile, that soft, secret smile she has and then she pushes open the door to our apartment like she did not just drop the most suspicious sentence ever. I step in behind her slowly, shutting the door behind us. “Okay... And what exactly does that mean?” I ask carefully as she kicks off her shoes. “What does what mean?” She asks with and arched brow. “You know exactly what that means... That...” I say, pointing at her. “That tone. That smile. That cryptic statement.” I say and she laughs lightly before she walks towards the kitchen. “You are overthinking this.” “I am not overthinking it, I am analyzing the situation.” I say and she snorts before she grabs two glasses from the cupboard. “I married a dramatic man.” She says, pouring water into the glasses. “You absolutely did.” I say and she hands me a glass of water. I don’t take it immediately. I narrow my eyes at her instead. “You said I would
Sienna’s Point of View I am reaching for a glass of water when an arm wraps around my waist from behind and I can't help but smile as tingles run through me. The touch is warm. Familiar. Mine. “Have I told you how beautiful you look yet?” Asher murmurs softly, his voice warm against my cheek. I take a sip of water before turning in his arms, looping my arms around his neck. “I do seem to remember something like that, but it is a bit hazy.” I tease with a smile and he chuckles softly as he tugs a loose strand of hair behind my ear. “Well then let me tell you again... You look absolutely stunning.” He murmurs, and his eyes drop slightly as he leans closer. “But as beautiful as you look in this dress… I can’t wait to get you out of it.” He says softly, just loud enough for me to hear. I laugh, shaking my head. “You are impossible.” I say and he grins at me. “I am just being honest.” “You are being inappropriate.” I say and he shakes his head “No, I c
Asher’s Point of View I keep shuffling and fidgeting nervously. First my left foot, then my right foot, then I adjust my jacket. I glance down at my watch and I let out a breath. “Relax. She will be here soon.” Derek mutters next me, clapping a firm hand on my shoulder and I glance at him. “I know... I just can’t wait to see her.” I say, sighing slowly as I run a hand through my hair. He grins at me. “Trust me. It will be worth the wait.”He says and I frown slightly. “That is not really helpful.”I murmur and he shrugs. “No, but it’s true.” Jake leans in from my other side. “You have faced rogue attacks without blinking, and this is what has you nervous?” “This is different.” I say flatly and Peter snorts. “It’s a ceremony.” “It’s my ceremony... With her.” I correct him, and Derek smirks at me again, shaking his head without a word. “You’re shuffling, again.” Jake says with a grin and I frown at him. “I am not shuffling.”I mutter and he arches
Hi guys! I trust that all of you are well?I am sorry that I have been so quiet the last two months.January was a bit of a circus between me, my son and my father being sick. And my son started February sick again, and currently we are sitting in the hospital once again, waiting for him to be checked in.I will work on updates and post chapters as I can.Thank you all for sticking with me, and I really do hope you stick with me as I finish The Luna He Left Behind, and that you continue on the journey with me with The Luna That Survived.
Sienna’s Point of View The room is full and voices are overlapping all around me. It is finally the day of our wedding and my luna ceremony and I am currently sitting sit in front of the mirror with Bianca standing behind me as her fingers carefully weave sections of my hair together. “Hold still.” She mutters gently and I roll my eyes. “I am holding still.” I protest and she frowns at me. “You moved.” “I didn’t move, I just breathed.” “That still counts as moving.” She mutters and Anna snorts from the other side of the room. “She has been bossy all morning.” She says and Bianca smiles. “Hey, I have to be. I have responsibilities." She says and Anna shakes her head with a smile. Ava steps closer to us, examining my makeup she did earlier with narrowed eyes. “And I have a reputation to protect. So please, no crying.” She says, her gaze moving over all of us before settling on me. I raise both hands with a smile. “I make no promises.” “Try.” A
Sienna’s Point of View As soon as I step inside, I kick off my shoes. “Aiden? You up?” I call out, but there is no answer. I sigh and shake my head before making my way to the kitchen to make us some breakfast. As soon as breakfast is done I make my way up the stairs. “Aiden. Time to get up.
Asher’s Point of View I stare at the stack of letters on my desk. Eight. Eight letters I wrote and never sent. Eight letters I should have said months ago, but didn't. I rub my thumb over the top envelope and I let out a long and slow breath. Derek and Ava are leaving today. Going to
Asher’s Point of View I get back from patrol just after sunrise, exhausted and covered in dirt. I quickly make my way to my room and take a quick shower that barely wakes me up, but I force myself to make my way towards my office anyway. I barely had time to sit down before my phone starts to ri
Sienna’s Point of View Dinner ends with Aiden declaring it as the “best part of the day” for the fourth time. “That is what you said after we went swimming.” I point out. “And after the tree house.” Derek adds. “And after the ice cream.” Ava says and we all laugh at the expression on
