Asher’s Point of View

As soon as Bianca and I step into the Luna’s library, my y mother looks up from her seat by the window, closing the book in her hands.

“Asher. Bianca. This is a surprise.”

She says, her tone is polite but neutral.

“Luna. Nice to see you.”

Bianca says warmly as we sit down across from her.

"So, to what do I owe this visit?"

She asks, glance between me and Bianca.

“Well, I thought it would be nice if we could spend some time together. Especially with the baby on the way.”

Bianca says, still smiling at my mother. My mother tilts her head slightly before nodding her head.

“Of course.”

Bianca beams and launches right into a conversation.

“The healer says that everything is progressing perfectly. The baby’s heartbeat is strong. And I have been craving the strangest things lately, tomatoes and honey, can you believe that? Asher laughs at me every time.”

My mother offers her a small smile.

“Well yes, strange cravings are pretty common d

The alpha family feels connections with their kin, so that likely means Asher' mum knows about Aiden. Aiden is Asher' heir anyway. Not Bianca' baby, whether his child or not.

Oh Asher! Listen to your mother. How can his mum not feel a connection with the baby and he can’t?

  • The Luna He Left Behind   Chapter 137

Sienna’s Point of View Asher and I walk in silence most of the way back to my house, both of us caught up in our own thoughts. “Why do you think he started attacking the packs in the first place?” I ask, finally breaking the heavy silence between us. Asher doesn’t answer me right away. We take a few more steps before he speaks. “I don't know... Maybe for power? Or he heard that I was looking for new alliances, and he thought the pressure would force my hand. I think he thought that at some point the attacks would be to much for us to handle and that I would sign with him to get help in stopping them, and he knew that if I signed an alliance with him the rest of them would as well.” He says quietly and I nod my head slowly. “And when you didn’t, he escalated.” I say and he nods his head. “That makes sense... But what about the two packs you suspected were helping him?” I ask and he sighs, running a hand through his hair. “I don’t know. But I think it is time we find

Sienna’s Point of View “Bianca, have you seen this symbol before?” I ask quietly, breaking the heavy silence in the room, For a moment, she doesn’t answer. She just stares at me, her fingers still clenched tightly around the photograph, her knuckles white. Her breathing is shallow, and it looks like she is holding herself together by sheer force. Then finally she nods her head slowly. “Yes. I've seen it before.” She murmurs softly. “Where have you seen it?” Scott asks, a frown on his face and Bianca lifts her gaze to him, hesitation flickering across her face. “Why do you have this? Where did you find it?” She asks him instead of answering his question. “We found it with the rogues.” Scott says and her eyes widen instantly, her face losing its color again. “What? Are you sure?” She whispers and he nods his head. “Yes, I'm sure.” Scott says. He grabs a few more photographs and hands them to her. She takes them with shaking hands, spreading them out over the slowl

  • The Luna He Left Behind   Chapter 135

Sienna’s Point of View The alarms are still blaring around when I turn sharply to the left instead of following the main path to the packhouse. “Wait, what is it? Where are we going?" Asher asks, but he follows me without hesitation. “We need to go to Emma’s. Aiden and Ethan are with her. We need to get them to the safehouse.” I say quickly and he nods his head immediately. “Okay. Lead the way.” He says and we continue to run in the direction of Emma’s house. The door opens before we even knock. “Sienna? Asher?" She looks surprised but she shakes her head. What’s happening?” Emma asks, panic flickering across her face. I don't know, but we dont have time. We need to move. Now.” I say quickly and she nods her head. Aiden appears from behind her, rubbing his eyes. “Mommy? What is happening?” He asks, confused. His gaze shifts next to me and his eyes widen. “Alpha Asher?” He says and Asher crouches slightly, offering him a small smile. “Hey, bud

  • The Luna He Left Behind   Chapter 134

Sienna’s Point of View The closer I get to the office and the more his scent grows, the more irritation sparks inside of me. Of course it’s him. Of course he came, even after I told him not to. I barely have time to lift my hand before Scott’s office door opens and Asher stands in front of me. Before I even have time to properly process the fact that he is standing in front of me his arms wrapped around me and he hugs me tightly. For a few seconds I just let him but then I push him away, frowning up at him. "What are you doing here? I told you not to come." I say, my voice tight. "I had to come see you."I fold my arms in front of my chest.“You have no reason to be here. I told you to let Scott handle it. This is his pack, Asher. Not yours.”I snap at him.His jaw tightens slightly, and his eyes shift away for a second but when our eyes meet again, his gaze softens.“I didn’t come here to interfere. My wolf and I were restless, and I just had to make sure you were okay, eve

  • The Luna He Left Behind   Chapter 133

Sienna’s Point of View I immediately hear the hum of a cartoon drifting from the living room when I step into Emma's house along with Aiden’s laughter. I hear Emma shushing him, telling him that Ethan is asleep and my shoulders relax just a little. At least the kids are okay. Emma looks up when I step into the room, her eyes immediately scanning my face. “Hey. How is she?” She asks softly and I sigh, shaking my head as I step inside. “Not good. She’s barely holding it together.” I reply just as softly. Emma presses her lips together, nodding her head. “Well, she is safe here now. Both of them are." She says firmly and I nod my head. "Yeah, I know. Scott and Marcus have increased patrols anyway and stationed some men around the packhouse. Just in case." "That’s good." She says quietly and I nod my head again. "So... How are they doing? They seem okay." I say and she nods her head. "Yeah, Ethan went to sleep easily, and Aiden… well, he’s a bit wired, but h

  • The Luna He Left Behind   Chapter 132

Sienna’s Point of View The warriors catch up to us less than ten minutes after Scott said they would. I spot the first patrol SUV in my rearview mirror and the tightness in my chest loosens just a little. “They’re here.” I say quietly.and Bianca looks up, her eyes still glassy. “What?” “The warriors. They are here, we're not alone, okay?” I say and she nods her head clutching Ethan a little tighter to her chest. Aiden notices the cars. “Are those the pack cars?” He asks and I nod my head. “Yes, baby. They were in town as well and now they are just making sure thar we get back home safely.” “Oh... Okay.” He says, leaning back against his chair. The rest of the drive is silent except for Ethan’s soft noises and the hum of the engine. By the time we reach the pack gates, my shoulders are aching from the tension gripping them. The gates open immediately and we go through quickly. Scott is already waiting for us on the steps when I pull up to the pack house. He rushes
