**Raina’s POV**

My breath hitched, my stomach fluttering with butterflies.

“Are you asking for permission? You didn’t do that back at the Whitecrest Pack,” I replied, my heart thundering in my chest.

He was so close… and his intoxicating scent kept wafting through my nostrils. Damn… he’s so sexy and handsome.

“Well, the situation was an emergency, and you practically begged me to touch you,” he murmured, his hand cupping my cheek.

Tingles rushed through me, and I gasped. The moment my lips parted, he placed his thumb in my mouth, and as if possessed by the god of lust, I sucked on his thumb, looking at him seductively.

“Fuck…” Rowan cursed… his eyes glowing that deep red that made him look like a sexy demon.

His wolf's eyes were unusual… but so were mine anyway. It was rare for a female wolf to have golden eyes.

“Well, you have my permission to kiss me–”

His lips were on mine in a split second, and a sharp jolt of electricity shot through me the moment our lips touched.
