Dresses!

Dresses! As expected, the only clothes Sarah had gotten me were all dresses. After much consideration, I finally settled for a gold long sleeved dress that touched just above my knees. To be honest, the dress was admittedly beautiful although I refused to say such out. Knowing this unfortunately would be my life from now on, wearing dresses and actually making an advance to look presentable and like an actual 'Luna'.

With I sigh, I opened the door and luckily did not have to face the alpha king as he was already gone. Sarah walk in as if noticing my arrival and took me to the dinning room were there was loads of food awaiting my devour. She pulled out a chair for me to sit down on at the head of the table and I thanked her. The food was too much and I obviously could not finish it all, "Care to join me Sarah?", I asked politely,

She smiled at me but shook her head in a declining manner, "Thank you for your kindness my lady but I must pass", she told me and I nodded knowing not to push her.

"Very well", I began to eat the rather delicious food taking my time in chewing as I was trying to avoid today's events. Within me, I knew I had a lot to shop for but I hated shopping, it is stressful and time consuming. "Has the alpha king had his breakfast?", the words came out of my mouth before I could stop them and I myself wondered why I asked the question when I was not even thinking of him.

Was it curiosity? Maybe it was out of instinct?

She placed a wide smile on her face and shook her head, "The alpha king has refused food until you yourself eat", I felt my stomach flutter and a warm sensation rush through me. It was a small yet caring gesture that was odd coming from the alpha king.

Once through with my food, we move to the outside area of the castle and a limousine pulled up in front of us, how original. A man clad in a suit walked out of the driver's side of the vehicle and opened the door with a bow, "My lady, this is Vincent, he has been selected to be your personal chauffeur", Sarah explained to me and I nod,

"Nice to meet you Vince, I can call you Vince right?", I was hoping that if I proposed this he will act less tense around me and actually see me as a normal Lycan but my plan did not word as he simply nodded his head without talking. I signed and entered the vehicle, I am a hundred percent sure that these people do not know how annoying it is to be treated like an invalid, other people might like to be treated superiorly but not me. God! Especially with the bowing, no matter how much I protested, they would not quit it with the bowing.

After Sarah, the door was closed and Vincent went back to the driver's seat. "Vincent is at your disposal and you can use him however you see it fit. But do note that all your movements will be monitored for security purpose and all the vehicles have an indestructible tracking device inputted in case of theft and etc", I simply nodded my head. This simply meant one thing; No freedom of movement. I could not leave this place without my movements being tracked somehow.

We finally came to a stop at a boutique. However, it looked upscale and expensive as it was a three story building, "We can not purchase from here", I immediately told her remembering my wallet was also in my purse. At that, I'm sure the money in my wallet could not purchase a piece of cloth from this boutique,

Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion, "Why not?", she asked me and I looked down, focussing on my fingers,

"I lost my wallet and have no money", she laughed at me and I looked at her wondering what in the world was funny to her, the fact that I reeked of poverty?

"I am sorry my lady but you were never supposed to pay with your own money. The alpha king has all that covered", she informed me placing a gold and platinum coloured card in my hand, "The card is unlimited and he instructed that you should go all out".

I looked at the card in my hand with anger and a little shame. Am I some sort of charity case to him? Is that why he chose me? "I'm afraid I can not accept this", I made a move to give her back the card but she shook her head,

"I am also afraid to say that I was ordered to make sure you purchased a whole wardrobe and communication devices", she said while Vincent opened the door, "Besides, if you plan on staying here, you'll need clothes", I groaned knowing what she said was true in every way. I had no clothes and if I was to stay- not like I had a choice- I'd need proper outfits.

"Fine, but I get to pick them out", I told her getting out of the car. We entered the boutique and immediately knew we were going to spend a fortune there. Honestly, I could not see myself in the stupidly expensive clothing, shoes or jewelries they had in here. I was already second guessing store choices but a redhead woman dressed in a rather elegant dress walked up to me, her beauty was breath taking and I could not help but feel out of place.

"My lady, it is a great honour to have you. What can I get for you?", she bowed, luckily she escaped an eye roll by a mere second.

"Please call me Daphne", I urged her but she merely nodded and asked me to follow her. She did not even let me answer her question before leading both Sarah and I to the section were the most expensive dresses were held. The prize tag more excruciating than the other as the dresses moved on.

"These are our best dresses my lady. Fit for a Luna", she told me with a smile, I shifted uncomfortably as I gave her my next words,

"I do not particularly fancy dresses but if you'll lead me to the jumpsuit, denim and trouser section, I'll be grateful", she nodded stiffly and walked me to another section. I could tell she was perplexed as she expected a Luna to be into dresses alone most especially the Alpha King's chosen but I refused to be a stereotype.

I noticed that Sarah never left the dress section and I knew within me that she was probably filling up her hands with different dresses, but surprisingly, I was okay with that, so long I wasn't the one picking them out by myself nor was I paying with my money
