Chapter Forty Three - The Hybrid

Noah had finally left Theo alone with Lucy so that he could go and freshen up. It had been almost a week since Lucy was admitted and she had started to spend a little longer each day awake.

She had been confused at first about what had happened and then angry that Noah was there at her bedside, but they had explained it away to her as simply concern.

Theo tried to take the nighttime shifts so that she wasn’t alone but the nurses hadn’t been keen on this until Noah stepped in and said that he would be there as well. So of course, as their future Alpha, they had relented and allowed them both to stay.

They had soon discovered though, that at night, her dreams seemed to be full of nightmares and she frequently called out in her sleep.
