Emily

Emily didn’t know how long she had been in the cell. She couldn’t see daylight and she was only brought one meal a day. This was of course to keep her weak, and keep her from being able to shift.

Oh how she would love to shift and be able to run through the woods. Stretching her legs and being out in the open cold air sounded heavenly.

Emily’s wolf was beautiful. Her white-blonde hair had nothing on her solid white wolf fur. And she was large. Her lineage made sure of that. Her father had been a very powerful alpha himself. And when she married Nick and became Luna, it only added to her power. A power that she would always keep, no matter what happened.

She was lucky in that way, she guessed. Because her family was so strong.. and important. They were the oldest family of wolves in all of the Americas… dating back to the beginning of their kind. Her ancestors had been some of the first.

That day she was allowed to bathe, if you could call it that. The guards brought her a bucket of water, a rag and a small bar of soap. Even so, she was glad to scrub off the blood and gunk that had been stuck to her since that night.

They brought her clothes as well, because today would be the first day of her trial. As weak as she was, she dressed quickly, anxious to see her children and her family. She knew her brothers would come and support her.

Emily’s brother Brian, who was now the alpha of her fathers large and very formidable pack would make the trip, along with his beta, and her other brother, Alan. Her father was too weak to travel so far but she knew he supported her. Her father would burn the world down if something happened to her. Still, someone had to stay back home with her family pack.

Not soon enough, the guards came down to get her. They brought her out of her cell for the first time in days, up the stairs and out into the cold, bright, world. It had snowed, and everything was beautiful. Emily had to shield her eyes as she hadn’t seen daylight in so long.

They yanked her along hastily, her feet dragging. They went up the hill and headed for the town hall building, where they held meetings… and where her trial would take place.

Being in the open air was cathartic for her. After being trapped in that cell for days she loved the way the cold air felt on her face, waking up her body after it had been sleeping for so long.

The smells… the smells were hitting her left and right. She could smell the snow, and the timber of the woods. Then she could smell evergreen and cinnamon, and knew her brothers were close by. But then she picked up something else.

Emily breathed in deeply. Something heavenly was in the air…. making all her senses come alive and crackle. A deep smell of woodsmoke and spices … it was mouthwatering. Not only that.. it was.. familiar. A smell she knew well, although she couldn’t remember from where or who. Something from her childhood, perhaps.

As they came around the side of the building, Emily could see several people standing outside. Some she didn’t know, others she recognized instantly. She saw that Caron, Susan’s husband was there. And her two brothers, Brian and Alan.

They ran up to her immediately and she hugged them both at once.

But then she heard …

“Emily??”

She immediately looked up and remembered where she knew that ethereal smell from.

She locked eyes with her past.. and said:

“Lorenzo”.

  • The Luna’s Choice    Chapter 171

Epilogue Emily The last few months had been the happiest in her life. She was overcome each and every day with the amount of peace and love she felt all around her. The pack had taken to her immediately. Everyone had each others backs here… everyone looked out for one another. There was no backstabbing and no secret plans of takeovers. She wasn’t worried constantly about someone trying to kill her. And .. best of all .. she had Lo. She had him all the time. Gone were the days of him having to leave. No more waiting weeks or months or years to see him. He was always there. She was settling into her Luna duties easily. She had done them for so long there wasn’t much to learn. The only difference was the Crow pack was massive in size compared to Nick’s pack. It was even bigger than her home pack so there was a lot of work to be done. But she didn’t mind it. Emily looked down at her arm.. the small crow tattoo looking back at her. She had gotten it right after the wedding. She sti

Wedding continued Emily Emily could not stop the waterworks that were happening. Tears streaming down her face as she sobbed at the letter. She sat it down beside her and patted it gently while she tried to calm herself enough to look at the dress. When she pulled it from the box, she immediately began sobbing again. She had never seen anything so beautiful in her life. The dress itself was the lightest pinky-tan color on the bottom. It was sleeveless and the top was fitted and covered with white lace and flowers. The bottom was flowy and had several layers to it. The train was long and white and was also covered with flowers and lace. It was literally enchanting. And absolutely perfect. So she had her dress and decorations and food.. now she needed some bridesmaids. ~~~~~~~~~~When the day finally arrived Emily was a bundle of nerves. As a special gift to her and Lo, her dad had gotten ordained and was going to marry them. When he walked into the room where she was getting

THE WEDDING EmilyFor the past couple of weeks, she had been working nonstop planning everything. She wasn’t the type of girl who had to have all the bells and whistles and sparkles, however, she did want everything to be perfect for her wedding. When she had married Nick, she had let Susan and Sophia make most of the decisions. And none of it had been what she would have chosen to do… so this time, she got to do it right. She knew they’d need a large area with tons of seating. People from all around would be coming. Several different packs from near and far would attend. People from her home pack of course, even people from Nick’s pack would come. Lorenzo’s pack would’ve filled an entire valley alone. So the first thing she did was find the perfect spot … and surprisingly.. or not.. it ended up being right outside her new cabin. There was a huge open space on one side of it. The other three sides were blocked off by a mountain, a lake, and a forest.. but the front of her house

Emily Nothing had ever felt as good as this. She didn’t care that sticks and grass were poking into her back. She stared up through the trees to the stars in the sky.. or maybe that was just her vision because she was losing herself. Lo continued his onslaught with his tongue. He licked and sucked and kissed.. he added a finger, then another. She couldn’t be still. It was too much .. it felt too good. She squirmed and whimpered and cried out. “That’s it baby…” he said. Then he went back in… attacking her with his mouth. He slowed down then. Torturing her. But goddess it was good. He lazily flicked at her with his tongue.. every so slowly … growling and causing vibrations as she climbed higher and higher. “Loooo…” she breathed out. “Mmmmmm” he hummed into her. Her body began to shake as she kept going higher and higher. He picked up his speed.. he added another finger. His other hand held her open as he kept going faster and faster and faster…. She went over the edge. She

Emily Emily couldn’t wait to see Lorenzo. Being away from him for two weeks was killing her. Of course she had enjoyed her time at home. She loved seeing her dad and Brian and Maeve and June. She had gotten to snuggle little Charlie … and it was as if Charlotte was there with her. She wished they could all live in the same pack together. Her and Lo, their children… her brothers and dad and Maeve and now the baby. And Juniper of course. If she could just have them all with her every day.. it would be a little piece of heaven here on earth. She got to tell Andrew that he was officially adopted. They both hugged each other and cried. He asked her if that meant he could call her mom now .. and she smiled so big her cheeks had hurt. “Yes Andrew. You absolutely can call me mom.” It had been a beautiful reunion with all her children. But now she was headed back to Lo’s pack.. which would soon be her own. Alan and Collins were returning as well in a couple of days. Alan stayed a lit

Lorenzo Emily had been gone back to her pack for only a couple of days, and already he was losing it being away from her. The hole she left behind was sucking the life out of him. He was moody and felt sick.. and bit the head off anyone who looked at him sideways. She would be returning soon… with the kids. He just had to hold off a little longer. He knew she needed this time with her dad and June and the rest of her family. Alan had gone too and taken Collins. Lo still couldn’t get over how that had all worked out but he was glad. Alan was the best fit for Collins. He knew they’d make each other happy, and he was happy for them both. Alan was one of his best friends and had the biggest heart, just like his sister. He was more like a brother to Lo.. him and Brian. Although Emily never got anywhere near the sister category. But they’d grown up together. The truth was Alan and Collins were a perfect fit. They bounced off each other in the best ways. Alan would bring Collins out o
