Chapter Sixteen: Amadaus Switches Hearts

Damon had them all clear out the arena. Thinking he finally won, He wore a smile. Seraphyna walked beside him also smiling. Amadaus, however remained stone faced.

He couldn't believe what he just witnessed. Amadaus never thought his older brother could do such a think to a female. A lower male he could understand, but a female..?

Shaking his head slightly as he shook off his conscious, he followed the pair ahead of him. Seraphyna looks back at Amadaus and smirks. How he hated that female.

Despite his distate for harming females, he didn't care about Seraphyna. He often wanted to end her himself. Her arrogant and coniving ways disgusted him. She was always with a stronger male.

She had the mindset of a black widow, when her mate ceased useful, she had him disposed of. Countless good males fell to their demise under her paws.

"Amadaus..why the stone face? cheer up! We just won our biggest battle. We gained Silent Moon." she said to him as she waited for him to catch up.

He could only give a soft grunt that seemed to be a neutral reply. She placed a hand on his shoulder as she spoke again.

"I could help you cheer up ya know...how about we go find a..quieter place..?"

Seraphyna smiled, tracing her fingers on his shoulder to his chest. Amadaus wasn't amused. He gripped her hand firmly and tossed it aside. He looked at her with a scowl.

"I wouldn't touch you if you were the last female on the earth. Do not EVER touch me again. I don't like your type..disgusting creature."

Amadaus retorted and huffed at her. Seraphyna scoffed and turned tail back towards Damon. She was not pleased with the words Amadaus told her and had set in her mind she was gonna end Amadaus.

He went into his room that was near by and sat at his desk. It was messy, piles of books and papers strewn about it. He let a huff out and pulled out the crumpled paper Damon gave him...the one he took from the girl.

He opened it and his eyes grew wide. It was the missing page that had the curse cure written on it. He then smirked as he knew she couldn't decipher it; it was in the ancient language of Fenris.

He folded it and placed it in his desk drawer. Amadaus pondered on what Motus would do now..He sighed and looked through a tome he had opened.

It was opened to a chapter on when Alphas find their Lunas. The text described how both sides get a sudden urge and pull towards their true mate.

That a new inner power is awakend inside them both and when combined, they would be a strong, unbreakable and wild force none could stop.

It also stated that if one becomes lost, the surviving one would go mad and wouldn't be able to mate again as their sould were melded together. Loss of the other shatters them and they lose themselves.

Reading this, it dawned on Amadaus that..what if this was the case for Motus and the female he had brung along. He looked at the drawer the paper was in..then at his window that faced towards the Silent Moon Territory.

With a slight smile he stood up and hopped out the window just as the sun was setting. He shifted into his wolf and ran towards Motus' home.

"I'm coming baby brother. Together...we can mend all the wrongs right again."
