Chapter 54. Bella POV
The following hours saw me flit in and out of eating and sleeping, unaware of time or even what day it was. Every time I emptied my plate and fell asleep I'd wake up and find another fully loaded bowl of food ready for me.
Someone was taking pity on me, and I was eternally grateful for it. Gitte powered me through, nudging me into recovery slowly but surely. Eventually, I felt rested enough to sit upon the bed, staring at the four walls once more.
