Alessia Claw ~
“You mean to say that the guardians of the Tree of Magic are here in the coven?” I asked with widened eyes fixed at the maiden who just made me aware of the fact that Lora and Lara, The Divine Sisters are here to see Frederick.
“Yes! They requested an audience with your brother, the king and he commanded that they be let in and welcomed.” the maiden said standing with her face bowed to the earth.
“Where are they all now?” I asked as I closed all the spell-books that surrounded me and rising to my feet.
“Last I saw, they were in the throne room anticipating the king’s arrival.” The maiden added.
“You are dismissed!” I sent the maiden away and headed out to my chambers in the coven heading straight for the throne room.
The Tree of Magic is back.
It must be!

Chapter 31Cassius Rein ~Using a spell that makes use of dark magic to take over Fredericks mind and turn him into a puppet just for a very short while, I was able to have him take the flower from the tree and have it over to me. It was clear that when that flower was taken down by any creature, there was no escaping the price to be paid so to avoid such price, I had Frederick take it down for me instead.That way, I get rid of him and get what I went there for.Through the ancient books on the Tree of Magic that I had read, I was made to understand that amongst the price for the flower, the takers soul would be trapped in the underworld for a thousand years if not eternity.It was more of a punishment than a price.What better thing to do than to kill two birds with one stone?
