Making attempt

Natalie's POV

With a racing heart, we got to the door to see Will walking towards the mansion. At his age, he was so much like his father. The way he walked, the aloof expression on his face, and with hands on his shorts pockets. His backpack was carried for him, his hair combed backward neatly like his father's.

I watched him till he got to where we were.

"Good afternoon ma. Good afternoon great grandpa," he paused to greet. I was just about to respond when he walked into the house leaving me and his great grandfather outside.

I turned to Grandpa and the man shrugged before turning to walk into the mansion and I followed. We got into the house to see the once-cold boy standing in the middle of the mansion.

As much as the expression on his face was one without care, I could see the sparkle in those beautiful blue eyes of his. Same eyes as his mother, Clara.

"Little Will," Grandfather called and he turned to look at him, he asked,

"Did the cook prepare spaghetti sauce?"
