Astrid

Well, I didn't expect that to happen so quickly. I knew I had a lot of time on my side to be able to explain myself and what had been going on, but then it suddenly blew up in my face.

I thought no one saw it, but it happened that everyone who was still alive with me saw it, and they just had to blow it up. But then, I was kind of okay with that. I had lifted that weight off of my chest, and I didn't have to worry about anything ever again.

I was happy that Soren understood me and decided to give me some time to think about it.

We had just been around the pack, fixing up one or two things.

Soren had left earlier; he said he wanted to go to some of the schools where he had given out scholarships and wanted to see how the students were doing, if they were taking their studies seriously, and all of that stuff.

And I was home, moving from Willa's place to my place, and I was glad that Amira was doing just fine.

She was able to open up and had been playing with some kids around

SorenKnowing who Oberyn was, hw must have tried to escape after he learned about Jarvis being locked up in the dark cells of my pack. He could only still be around if he hadn't heard about it. It's a sad thing for him if he hadn't heard about it.It didn't matter if he heard about it or not. I was still going to get him. Ben and I, along with three other pack warriors, had set up for this journey. Usually, I always love to make these journeys on my own, but this was a different case. Oberyn wasn't an easy target when it came to things like this."Damn, the sun is scorching on this part of the world." Ben cried as he stopped and pulled out a water bottle hanging on the side of his horse."I guess. Not like us with the freezing temperatures." I suppose we all took that moment to be our resting moment as we drank from our various bottles. We rested for about fifteen minutes before continuing on our way down to Dark Circus. We stopped at the gate.I looked around when I noticed tha

Astrid."Is that punishment enought for them? I think something more serve should be given to them. They have done just more than enough harm."Soren pulled closer to his arms and placed a kiss on my forehead. "I have though about that too. But that's all there is for now. They wouldn't walk away with something as minimal as that. They have done enough. "I nodded. Thirty strokes. He told me he wanted them to receive thesame thing they had done to me before I was being banished from my pack. A pack that would now be controlled by Soren. If he decides to."Unless I forget, I have somewhere to be this morning. I need to get Oberyn." A placed a soft kiss on my lips and pulled the covers off his body."You think he'd still be in his pack given that his partner in crime had been caught.?""Well, I don't know about that, but I will get him. No matter where he goes."Why had he joined Jarvis to attack us? Given that Soren had no malice with except the one the Oberyn in question started

SorenI didn't understand what was happening, but it was like she was drawing power from the stone or the stone was releasing its powers to her. Her eyes flashed open and met the stone. My mouth fell open at what was happening to her hands. What exactly was going on? Was she saved from that? Her fingers, palms, and right down to her arms glowed bright blue. It was like the light was seeping into her hands. It didn't end there; her entire body had the same reaction. She lifted her head to the sky, a loud scream leaving her mouth. What exactly was happening to her? My questions, doubts, and fears took me back to what the fortune teller had told me. She was the only one able to open the stone, but I didn't envision it to be like this. That could be dangerous. It could harm her. What if she couldn't handle all of that?"Somebody stop..." I was about to ask someone to stop her since my hands were in restraints, but then, the glow suddenly stopped. The stone turned back to its original d

Astrid. I was an idiot for thinking this would work, but I had no other choice. I couldn't bear to see Soren being hot like that. I didn't want to see him in that state. So, I had to do the only thing I could. Like I could open the stone which I knew deep down that, I couldn't open the stone.I was dragged to the front and made to kneel in front, with the pack members behind.Soren was brought forward as well.I didn't know the powers that stone held, I could just tell them that it had no powers at all or due to how long it had been kept, it had lost all its abilities. "This is your last chance and if you fail to open this, you and everyone you know die right in front of you."Eridesce whom I guess was the master mind behind all this, pushed in front of me and then crunched down. The stone in her hands. She wouldn't be holding that stone if she knew the power it held, although I doubt because if that was the case, something must have happened to it or to them.I said nothing as I

Soren My eyes opened up to a room dark room with no light source. I tried to feel the area and see what was going on, just to realize that my hands were tied behind me.“Who brought me here, untie me. I need out of these ropes this instance.” I growled in the dark room and heard my voice echoed back me the room. “soren.” My body went numb at the sound of the week voice in the room. “Astrid.” I called frantically searching the dark room. I fall on my knees, my hands behind my back but it was too dark for me to see anything. I heard her voice. She is here. In this same room with me. The person I came here to look for was in this room with me.“Astrid, where are you?” I called out walking on my knees, my face on the floor. “I don’t know. I don’t know where I am. How did you get here?”I should be asking her that question but I knew exactly what happened if Jarvis brought me here, it meant that e brought her too. And he and whoever was involved were behind the attack that happened in m

SorenI watched as Willa wheeled Soren to her place. He was lucky to have someone take care of him at a time like this. Ked had been taken to his home by the girl he was seeing. I watched them leave."Don't hesitate to let me know if anything comes up, I will be happy to help."My brows rose at what he said. He just left the hospital and he was already wanting to help when he was still to get his full recovery. Ked had told me the same thing as well.I was appreciative of their gestures, but I couldn't let that happen. They had to be fully received before anything else. We couldn't risk that. After looking into it, I saw that my father had everything he needed for the day at his disposal. I made my way to my office. A few emails had been sent to my office a few days ago. I didn't have the time to check them out since I was busy with things around the pack.I had even forgotten about it until Ben, the guy that had been working alongside me, just like Darson and Ked had reminded me
