Soren

Nine pm was when I finally stepped out of the bathroom, freshly showered, a little water still dripping down from my wet hair.

I stepped into the walk-in closet. I moved to the far section where I had my black outfits sorted from the colored clothes. I sorted through the clothes and picked out a black t-shirt, a black jacket, and black jeans. I paired all that with a pair of brown leather sandals. I specifically liked them because they were comfortable to walk in and let the air hit your legs.

I went back to my dressing mirror. I was done dressing in no less than ten minutes. A gold chain was the last thing I put on. I leaned forward into the mirror and checked my reflection. I brushed my hair to the side with my fingers before stepping out of the house.

"Is our guest settling in just fine?" I mind-linked Lena as I hurried down the stairs. It took a couple of minutes before she responded.

"Yeah, she is getting better, Alpha."

I nodded at that and closed the mind link.

She had to

Astrid.Training has been going on pretty well. I was done with some of the major training like the push-ups and rope jumping. He had let me know it wasn't all about the training. I still had more training to do. Willa had told me about weightlifting, boxing, sword fighting, and horse riding, which I was quite excited about. She was good with horses, and I was sure she wouldn't mind helping me out with some tips if at all Soren would let her. After the morning, I shot my dart right into the red dot; I hadn't seen him much. He had come to the field and given me a few instructions and left immediately. He might have some pack stuff going on with him. Willa had made mention of a pack of Caribou and Elk he had found. I'm pretty sure he was working on protecting from other pack members just like I was told.Yeah, Willa and I had had a good time together in the past few days. She was good. She would laugh at the slightest thing I said, not like I was that funny, but I loved seeing her laug

  • The Luna's Walk of Shame   A life style

Astrid."You have been getting bruises lately. I hope mh son isn't being harsh on you?"I lifted my head from the bowl of steamy Caribou in front of me and stared at Luna Henna. Her face held a small smile on it. My gaze moved to Soren who has puased his spoon in his plate, he was now leaning in his chair, his eyes on my face. They were intended and I don't know if he wanted to me to say something different or maybe something in his favour.I shook my head befire answering her question, making sure to leave her son out of it. There wasn't any doubt that he might double training or make it intense if I said anything that didn't favour him."Each level of the training get pretty tough..." I swallowed the meat in my mouth. Took a glass of water to watches it down with."...and injuries happen all the time. I'm getting use to it." The fork poked at a sliced of thick Caribou. I shoved it into my mouth. I started chewing from thr lest side before circulating it into my mouth. This has go

  • The Luna's Walk of Shame   Mind made up

AstridHorrible would be an understatement to describe the act before me. Two heads on a spike at the banks of a loch. He had some memebers of his pack peed around it. And he had done thesame. I shouldn't be seeing this, but here I was against my own will. Did his parents know about this abominable act?How could a human being be this insane about this like this and acts like it's nothing? The crowd that had followed him here most of them had left already. It was just his gamma, beta and few other people that didn't know their names but their faces were quite familiar. He needed to be called to order. Someone needed to do something about this act. It couldn't continue like this. Even if someone did you wrong, you couldn't treat them like this."Light it up and let them burn to ashes." He turned to the gamma who seemed to be enjoying the show. I didn't know if it was out of his own will or he was bound to enjoy it.Alex had no expression on his face as he just watched the entire

  • The Luna's Walk of Shame   Have a feast with me

AstridWith everything that has happened so far, i should be be able to go. Just leave this pack and it's people and go somewhere else. But where would I go? I had nowhere to go and no one to talk to. The only person I could talk to was Fern but I couldn't mind link her and I don't know if she has tried to mind-link me or not or they had completely forgotten about me.I was hopeless with nowhere to look for help. I though things would get better , but Soren kept getting worse everyday. Even if he was going through something, he didn't have to unleashed his anger on me. I didn't know what he was going through and so, I had no right to his anger. He was being mean for no reason. Asking me to run up a hill as steeped as the one he asked me to.I should probably just stay in my room. But I couldn't. I have been in here the whole day. I wasn't use to in staying in doors like this.I used to walked around in Emberclaw, taking care of the pack and seeing how things were functioning. Takin

Soren.'We got a problem.' I mind linked Alex, the moment I got Astrid into my arms.'whom did you killed this time and need me for a clean up?' He answered right back. I shook in my head, a smile almost forming on my face.He though the onky time I needed him was a cleaned up. He would have been doing one now if Astrid had actually broken some bones and probably lost her breathing. Thank goodness that her pulse was still strong. I couldn't afford to lost her just her. She was of no use to me being dead. I stood up from her and wiped the dirt off my hands using my dirty jeans as rag.My eyes roamed her tiny frame that was crunched below the hill. Blood ran down the side if her face. It did nothing to stop even after she kept cleaning it with the back of her hand. Her knuckles had a few bruises on them.My eyes moved to her legs. She was damn lucky that she had long pants and thick string boots else, she would have cracked her ankle though that didn't guarantee that she didn’t hav

  • The Luna's Walk of Shame   The hill climbing

SorenIf there was one thing I hated so much, it was when people didn't get what I wanted right. Simple instructions, and they were unable to follow through. It was just a simple exercise, something she should have learned, and then we could have moved on to something new, but she was still here and struggling. My jaw ticked in irritation as I watched her hold the bow and arrow as if she had no muscles in her arms. How could that even be possible?I shook my head and took steps towards her. I seized the arrow from her hands, and she flinched to the side. She muttered something under her breath, which I assumed was a curse or something. She had been doing that a lot. If that made her feel better, then she had to say it a lot.I put the arrow back with the others and turned to her. Her hands were stiff at her sides, her head tilted down."Shooting arrows seems not to be your specialty, so we shall move on to something else."I dropped the quiver of arrows on my back and started ahead. S

  • The Luna's Walk of Shame   Choked

AstridWhat the hell was he doing? I tried to wriggle my hand out of his grip, but it was as tight as a vise as he dragged me out the door and towards the garage. He yanked the car door open and pushed me forward. He was about to enter but stopped and turned to the guard at the garage. “If you ever see her around here, let me know.” The guard nodded, his black security cap bobbing on his head. He entered the car. His jaw was tight, revealing nothing. What was his problem? “Seatbelt on.” I rolled my eyes, reached for the side of the seatbelt, and pulled it across my body. It was no use arguing with him; I didn’t have the energy.“Who gave you orders to go to the club?” His voice rang in the car. My eyes, which were fixed on the dark path ahead illuminated by the orange headlights, snapped to him. His eyes were on the road, focused just as they always were when he looked at me.“I didn’t know I needed your permission before going to the club,” I muttered, my hands fiddling between my ti

  • The Luna's Walk of Shame   Let's go home

AstridI didn't have the kind of clothes for clubbing, so Willa had volunteered to give me one of hers.A red bodycon gown with tiny straps. It had a V-neck and a small gap around the waist, giving a little glimpse of my stomach. It was knee-length with a small split at the hem. She let down my hair and applied a little makeup to my face.I knew I looked a bit slutty, but I couldn't help wanting to feel that way for one night.Jarvis and I had been to a few clubs at the pack when we had just gotten together.I hadn't attended any club after leaving for the Raven pack. I didn't see a reason to go to a club without my mate and have those young pack members ogling me like I was a piece of candy ready to be eaten. None of them would dare look at their Luna in that manner, but I knew how much self-respect I had, and I had to protect that because I had a partner I was waiting for. That was the level of loyalty I had for Jarvis, and what did he do? He shoved it right back in my face. And wat

  • The Luna's Walk of Shame   He is fighting inner battles.

Astrid"Don't ever go to a place and look for trouble if you don't have anything backing you up. And if you get into trouble, act like nothing happened."Those words burned so badly in my head that I desperately wanted to ruin something, to break something, but I knew I couldn't. I was a stranger, and if anything, I would be condemned for trying to fight back. She had slapped me, and every one of them watched without so much as a word. Soren hadn't stopped her or said anything. He watched me leave the field with my hand pressed against my burning cheek. His slut had slapped me because I had spoken to him about the tone he had used on me.I pulled the black band from my head and tightened my hair into a high ponytail. My wolf and I hadn't gone for a run in a long while; however, I had been taking runs by myself. No one could uncover my identity by identifying my wolf. Most of Veridian knew the Emberclaw Luna with her big brown wolf that had really dark patches of black around her. Some
