Let's play a game

I stared around, still looking for the owners of the voices. My legs continued to shake, and my breath came out in gasps, scared to my bones at the thought of what was going to happen to me here. Who the hell owned the voices? Why are they still hiding? Playing games with me?

“Come forward, Miss Cold.”

The moment the gruff voice came once more, a door by my right opened, scaring the hell out of me.

I heard a scream, which I later realized was mine. My heart almost leapt out of my chest from how scared I was.

“Step in,” the smooth melted chocolate type of voice ordered. And like the first time, I found my legs going towards the door without knowing what the hell was happening to me.

The odd thing was I couldn’t stop my legs from moving. It was as if something was propelling me to go forward.

I gulped, scared to my bones the moment I stepped into the room, but the fear dissipated at the sight in front of me. I don’t know what I hoped, but it wasn’t this.

The room was beautiful, with sofas arranged to form a circle around a golden transparent table with an elephant figurine on it. The chandelier hanging from the roof illuminated the room, giving light to it because the curtains were closed.

“Fuck!” I screamed at the sight of two men with their backs to me. I took a step back and wanted to run out of the door, but the door slammed shut on its own, scaring the shit out of me.

“Christ!” I cried out, scared to my bones at what was happening. What the hell had I gotten myself into? Why did I sign up for this, thinking it was going to be as easy as my other jobs?

The men turned at once, and my breath hitched at the sight of the most beautiful men ever. They tied their identical red hair up in a ponytail, with just a few strands curled in their faces. Their blue, piercing eyes looked like a glacier, freezing anyone who dared to stare into them.

My eyes went lower. The two men looked identical, but their bodies differed greatly from each other. One was muscular enough, like a football star, while the other had a slim waist and a figure that would make a swimmer jealous.

God.

These men were utter perfection. They looked like they just stepped out of a magazine. The only thing that made them different from those men was the paleness of their skin. They looked half dead. Locking themselves away from the world must have cost them.

“Miss Cold?” The one with the gruff voice asked as they stepped forward. Their eyes took me in, making me feel self-conscious. I gulped, trying not to stare at them.

“Mr….” I trailed off, not knowing what to call them. Aside from their last names, no one knows the names of the brothers — it was still a mystery.

“You came for the interview?” The one with the smooth voice asked, stepping closer to me.

I swallowed and nodded at the question, too scared to speak. The closer the brothers got, the more nervous I felt until it seemed like my soul was about to leap out of my body.

Gracious Lord. Was it too late for me to return to yesterday?

“A bunny bold enough to step into our den, brother.” The one with the gruff voice smiled, showing off his perfectly aligned teeth, scaring the jellies out of me.

“Miss Cold, do you know what we do to bunnies like you?” He asked, stepping closer with each word.

My legs couldn’t move. It was as if it were stuck on the floor, and wouldn’t budge despite my desire to get it out and race for the door.

I gulped. “N…no!” My voice came out shrill — too shrill for my liking.

His lips curved to the right. “You don’t seem to know what you came here for, bunny.”

“I… I do! I showed up for an interview!” I yelped.

He laughed, glancing back at his brother, who hadn’t said a word since he stopped moving. “You came for an interview, right?” He closed the distance between us so much that his height towered over me.

I had never felt as small as I felt in his presence. Just like he said, I was just a bunny who mistakenly stepped into a lion’s den without knowing it.

“And what do we get from this?” He suddenly asked.

“F… Fa… Fame!” I stuttered out, shivering in fear.

“Recognition?” He turned to his brother once more, and they scoffed at the same time. “We already have that, bunny. For you and the other humans to contact us, means we are quite…. famous.” His mouth curved at the side, and he looked like he was enjoying this, while I was shit-bat terrified.

“We… We… We can make you extremely famous!” I stuttered out, glancing towards the other brother, who had his arms folded and an amused expression on his face.

“Exceptionally famous?” He chuckled. “It seems you don’t know what you are offering, human.”

The way he said the human word made it seem like it was dirt under his feet. They left me to wonder why he would speak of his species like that.

“We… We can do whatever you want.” I gulped, trying not to yell out, when he suddenly leaned so close to me, leaving no gap between us.

“If you wish to know more about us, bunny, we can strike a deal.” His tongue snaked out and licked his bottom lip.

I shivered at the sight, and a whimper tore from my throat at it.

God.

Here I was, thinking of his tongue when I was still in their den, with no idea of how I could escape from this place — unscathed.

“Deal?”

“Yes, deal. Let’s play a game, bunny.” He smirked. “If you want to know about us, you need to strike an agreement with us.”

“What deal? What game are you talking about?” I surprised myself by speaking without stuttering. Though my body continued to shake, I tried to pretend to be strong when I was only moments from running out of there.

“A game of pleasure —intense, painful pleasure.” He straightened. “What do you say, bunny?”

I shivered. “What does it mean?”

Although I had an inkling of what he wanted from me, I still needed to hear it from him.

“It means you get to be our toy — fuck toy,” he clarified.

I took a step back, and another, finally free from whatever was holding me down not too long ago. My heart seemed to beat miles a minute as his words fully registered.

“You want me to …” I gestured towards him before I did so to his brother, and pointed at myself, stunned by their offers.

Shit.

Are these brothers insane?

Though I would get sufficient money and recognition by interviewing them, I didn’t think it was enough for me to willingly give my virginity away to these pale brothers.

“So?” He cocked his head to the side.

“No!” I hastily shook my head. “I won’t do this.” I took a step back, and then another until my back hit the door.

The other brother, who hadn’t said a word, glanced at me. His eyes raked through my body before he turned his head, focusing on his brother.

“Seems like you have made up your mind, Miss Cold.” The brother I had been speaking to snapped his fingers. “Have a nice day. Should you wish to take us up on the offer, our door is open for you.” He turned his back to me. “Brother, let’s go.”

I didn’t wait for them to leave. I turned and twisted the doorknob, half expecting it to be shut, but was shocked to find it open.

I threw the door open, ran out to the foyer, and picked up my purse, phone, and pepper spray from the ground before I made a mad dash to the door.

The door that was locked when I tried to escape was surprisingly open, but I didn’t dwell on how strange it was. I ran out of the house, slammed the door behind me, and hastened towards the gate with my heart beating loudly in my chest.

My body felt icy dread, and the feeling stayed until I left the compound, and the gates locked on their own — obviously computer-controlled.

I looked like one who had seen death with the way I jumped into my car and zoomed out of the place without saying a word.

I drove straight to my home, winded by what had just happened.

  • The Lycan Brothers' Willing Toy   A return to Earth

EPILOGUE It was a rocky year for all of us, but we persevered. It took months to convince the people of the kingdom to accept hybrids. A fight broke out about it, but luckily, everything was sorted out before things could escalate any further. Though there were people who were still against the hybrids, they weren't enough to stop my mates from passing a new law. The hybrids didn't need to hide anymore. With the law, they were free to live among the others or stay back in their town. They chose the latter. Having made a life in the small town, they were reluctant to leave. Though they occasionally went to the kingdoms to purchase things, they still returned to their home. To them, it was more than home. The sanctuary my mates created for them was the first place they ever felt safe in.With the kingdom in peace, we had our wedding in the throne room, not the old one, of course. Because of the number of deaths in the palace and the bad memories my mates had of the place, they pulled

  • The Lycan Brothers' Willing Toy   An unexpected confession

It shocked my mates when they returned to the palace, to learn what happened. They were sad they missed out on the fight and on an opportunity to show me how badass they were. It was funny, though. I had seen them fight and knew what they were capable of, yet they wanted to show me they were good. It wasn't until I spoke with Devon that I realized what was going on with them. With how powerful I had become, my mates were trying to let me know they could also protect me, even though I was more powerful than they were. I thought it was cute. They didn't feel intimidated by my powers. They only wanted me to know I could rely on them most times, that I didn't have to act all badass with them. After the fight, everything returned to normal. Well, as normal as our family could get. Chrys was still reluctant to start her studies fully and the darling always kept Chris on her toes. The babies weren't helping at all. The bigger they got, the more it became impossible for us to hold them down.

  • The Lycan Brothers' Willing Toy   Never again

“Fancy meeting you again, Bella,” he said with a smile, with his arms folded. “How have you been? I trust you loved my gift?” “Give my kids back!” I snarled at him but didn't walk towards him, cautious to use my powers as he placed my kids in a large stroller in front of him, all of them sleeping. Seeing Chrys sleeping made me realize the sound I thought I heard didn't come from her. It was either that or he put her to sleep and used her to get to me. “Your kids?” He looked down at my sleeping children. “It's a pity they are so cute. Killing them would be so heart-wrenching.” He smirked. “What do you want with them? You have a vendetta against me not —” “No. I don't have any problem with you," he started before his gaze went to my bloody hands, and his face twisted with rage. “I didn't have a business with you, but now I have.” He narrowed his eyes at the body on the floor. “Imelda was the perfect henchman. Now that you have killed her, I have no option but to avenge her. Howev

  • The Lycan Brothers' Willing Toy   She's still alive

I dragged the only living attacker as he led us to their hideout. When I realized my kids were truly missing, I lost it. Luckily, Chris kept one man alive, so Devon could control him, which was how we learned of their hideout. Whoever the fuck they were, didn't know what was coming for them. Devon and Chris flanked me as we stepped into the compound. I wasn't scared. That was an emotion I wasn't concerned about. All I could feel was the deep rage that started from my head and continued down until it reached my toes. I wanted nothing but to rip them to shreds for laying their filthy hands on my babies. The minute the men patrolling the perimeters saw us, they startled, approaching. Seeing we were just three, they must have thought they could defeat us, not knowing how badass we were. Devon and Chris went to work while I continued to drag the man towards the door. Reaching there, I threw him on it, causing the doors to fall from the weight. With the man out of the way, I stormed int

  • The Lycan Brothers' Willing Toy   They are gone

Just like Devon said, I fell asleep a few seconds after he left. Unlike his words, when he made it sound like I could fight that sleep if I wanted, I couldn't do that. The pull was so strong I didn't even know I slept until I got up later. I still didn't know the time, so there was no way to know how long I slept. I got down from the bed. Surprisingly, the pain I felt when I woke up before I took the pills had disappeared. I felt like a new person like I could take anyone up. I walked over to the window and drew the curtains, wincing as the bright light fluttered into the room. I hastily closed the curtains, rubbing my eyes. If I'd known it was this bright outside, I wouldn't have attempted to open the window. I would have stayed in my room with the dim lights. Hissing at the sun as if it were the reason I opened the curtains, I walked into the bathroom to have my bath. My body felt like it hadn't felt the touch of water on it for days now, and I didn't like that feeling. After m

  • The Lycan Brothers' Willing Toy   What happened to me?

BELLAI was in total darkness, roaming through it, looking for the light, for a chance to break through, to find my way out, but I couldn't. I felt my body moving, but my eyes were shut. The only thing I knew was the intense rage I felt at the world for keeping me bottled up. For years, I had wished to be let out from the confines to show the world who I was, but I was kept down, tied, and unable to move and use my powers. At that moment, with the darkness swirling around me and enveloping me, making me one with it, I wanted to let go, to merge myself with the rage, to become one with it and to let the feeling wrap around me. However, the thoughts of my babies' smiles as I held them, the whispers of my mates' voices as they told me how much they loved me, the smirk that was always on Chris's face when she had something up her sleeves and the embarrassed smile Devon always sent my way, forced me to snap my eyes open… For a moment, my thoughts were disoriented. I didn't know where I
