Chapter 27

That afternoon, I went into my room and drew short when I saw what was on the table.

Food.

Just as I rushed over to it the door opened and four omegas poured in, two I recognized to be Syb and her tall friend, Penny.

"I know right??" one of them was saying. "I'd literally die."

Sitting behind my small desk, I picked up the hamburger and devoured it in seconds, starting on the next one.

"Eurgh, careful," someone called out in disgust. "You're not in an eating competition."

My ears burned as they erupted into laughs. Soon, they went on to another conversation. I didn't key in to it until they mentioned an event of sorts. Figuring this would give me an idea of what the rush in the morning was about, I listened.

"...yeah, like I said, I don't care. Every alpha around the globe will be coming here, what part of that did you not understand, Lu?"
