CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR

They spent quite a lot of time in that room after the Omega came to clean it up for their usage. By the time she was done, the stifling air was replaced with a refreshed one and enough ventilation was welcomed back to the room.

"I think I had the best levity of my life today with you, Ms," Emma quipped as they neared the foot of that step that would lead to their different chambers.

Emilia agreed with her. She did too. In fact, apart from the days she snuck off to the lake with Betty, today's level of enjoyment was beyond what she imagined and now as they reached the foot of the stairs, she knew she was going to miss the little hellion.

"Perchance, we should do this more often, what do you think?" the girl whipped around with hope in her eyes.

"Well, as far as we get to wreak havoc in the castle, then I am in!" Emilia concurred, bouncing her flamy tendrils side by side. "But on one condition..."

The girl's tentacles stood. "What?"

"That you stop calling me Ms, and call me by my name."
