LOGINGive and Take
Elowen's POV “Your words will only have an impact according to your title, huh?” I could barely hear what the lycan was saying. A prince? I never had an encounter with anyone from the royal family. They are said to be sacred and powerful, so naturally, a slave like me wouldn't have any chance to see them. Through my blurry gaze, I saw him stepping over Alpha Grayson, which earned a lot of violent and shocked reactions for disrespecting him. “We beg for your forgiveness, your highness. We failed to recognize you.” Whispers from the people I grew up with reached my ear. “Is that really the second prince? I heard he's apathetic and ruthless, but why does he seem so playful?” “Don't let that fool you. Lycans are a lot stronger than werewolves and he can crush our skulls with bare hands.” “I heard he's killed so many, so you better keep your mouth shut because he can hear you.” “How long will you lay there on the dirt? You look stupid. Do you want them to ridicule you some more?” I stared at the pair of leather boots in front of me and dragged my eyes up to meet a set of familiar eyes—those captivating eyes that stared at me as if he had just seen something he needed. As if I mattered to him somehow. “I-It's you.” “It's time to eat you up, human.” he smirked and pulled me on my feet. “I always thought that Black Mountain is one of the greatest packs out there, but witnessing what happened today, I was wrong,”he muttered, “I'm disappointed with how you handled things here, Alpha Grayson. You can do a lot more than that.” “I will take your advice to heart, your highness.” “From now on, this one belongs to me. Anyone who touches her will have to speak to me.” The second prince shot everyone a warning look that made them weak on their knees. It was an amusing sight. They were looking at me earlier like I was a mere dirt under their shoe. But now they couldn't even look him in the eyes. I gasped when he carried me in his arms without any warning and wrapped my arm around his neck so I wouldn't fall. He gently placed me on his bike and put his helmet on me. “Next time, you leave a room where no one wants you. No excuses.” My eyes shifted to where Olga and Henry were kneeling on the ground and he shut the visor, as if stopping me from looking at them. He mounted his bike and turned it on, the beautiful purr of the bike filled the whole place. He suddenly took my hands and had them wrapped around his waist. I panicked a little because I knew touching the royals could cause you your head, but I found that I had no strength to argue. “You better hold on tight.” “Where are you taking me?” I asked in a small voice. “Somewhere far from here.” Kohen took me to a house located inside a forest. I didn't even realize we stopped because I was crying the whole time. He got off his bike and removed his helmet, snorting loudly when he saw my face. “Stop crying over someone like that. Does he have a big dick or something? Because that is the only reason you should be crying.” I was flabbergasted by his offensive remark and it gave me the impression that although he saved me, this prince is still a jerk. “Let's go. You need to meet someone.” He helped me off his bike and I followed him as he entered the house like he owns it and witnessed how he easily caught a flying knife just in time before it hit his face. “Oh, it's you.”I heard a woman saying but I couldn't see her because Kohen was blocking my sight. I stepped to the side and saw a gorgeous woman with bright red hair and black eyes. “Why? You didn't see me coming through your vision?” Reina ignored him and walked past him to look without taking her eyes off me. “Who's this? Don't tell me you're—" “You told me to look for her and I did. There's your golden blood.” The woman gasped loudly, her eyes popping out of their sockets and she covered her mouth. “What's golden blood?”I wondered, totally confused. “A small group of healers thousand years ago, and you are a reincarnation of them,”Reina answered with her eyes sparkling. “They thought you were a myth so you're not written in history, but you're here.” “That is impossible. I am a simple human.” “Stop gawking and tell me how to get rid of the curse. Do I need to fuck the energy out of her or eat her flesh and drink her blood?” I instantly paled because of what he said. “Please don't mind him. His brain is in his dick so it's all he can think about. Let's sit and I will explain everything to you.” Reina took me to the sofa and explained everything. He told me about Kohen's curse and that I was the only one who could save him. She said that she saw me in her vision and told me everything she knows about golden blood. I had a hard time wrapping my head around it and felt overwhelmed. “So what you're trying to tell me... is that I am the only one who can get rid of the curse inside him? B-But how?” “Because you are pure, and like I said, you came from a clan of healers. The curse cast upon him is a dark energy that will slowly weaken his body as he is near the age of twenty-five. The energy inside you can cleanse the curse inside him.” “Does that mean he needs to–to eat me?”I stuttered. Tears gathered in my eyes at the thought, but then I realized what's good about being alive anyway? It's endless torture. “Maybe I should. To help the world get rid of a stupid human who's given up on life just because her husband chose another woman.” “I've already done my research and the only way to cleanse your body from it without harming Elowen... is through sex.” “Why should I help him?”I found myself asking, not liking how he's treating me. “Because I saved you twice and because you have no choice. If you refuse, and if you tell anyone about this, I will tear you to pieces before I kill you.”he threatened without a hint of a smile on his face and I cowered away from his gaze. Reina sighed heavily. “Can't you be nice for a second? She will be helping you extend your life, jerk. You should be kissing her feet.” “Alright. What do you want me to do for you to help me? Give and take. You will give me what I need and I will give you what you want.” I bowed my head and gave it some thought. I remembered what Henry said and why he wanted to divorce me. He said he wants power, and he'd use Olga to gain it. They would be out there living like they didn't just attempt to kill me. Well, maybe this is my chance to make them pay for what they did. They want power? I will take it from them and leave them with nothing. I stared at Kohen with tears no longer falling from my eyes .“I want to punish Henry and Olga for what they did to me.”The Real Killer Elowen's POV"Stop punishing your sister, love. She didn't mean it. She just wanted to help me." I tried convincing my husband, who had just locked his sister in her palace."Stop defending her, Elowen. She's not a child. She knew the weight of her words. She should have known the effect it would cause. She put you in danger, damn it!" I sighed and hugged him from behind, leaning my forehead against his strong back."They would have found out either way, Kohen. We both know it won't be long before words get out. I know you are angry because you want to protect me, but don't put the pressure on your sister, hmm?" Kohen turned around and took me in his arms. I sighed in bliss and melted in his embrace."I guess I am just angry that nothing seems to be working out. Whenever you are happy, something will happen to ruin it. It's like you don't have the right to experience happiness.""That is why every happiness, memories and moments should be treasured, love. Stop worry
The Hero They See as a VillainElowen's POVIn the end, Reina didn't explain what she meant. And I didn't force her because I had a feeling she wasn't sure herself. She simply assured me that she will help me figure it out and she discreetly took a sample of my blood. The following days became busy to me and I noticed that the bruises were slowly fading, but I still feel lethargic sometimes. The only thing that drives me to move is Kohen and my passion.I was in-charge of redecorating the pond, gazebo, garden and the pavilion. I sketched a blueprint first and made sure it looked close to how it looked like before and submitted it to the king. "Hmm, I like how you kept the old design and added your own touch, princess. Truth is, I've been wanting to redecorate that place anyway." King Dorian added some things he wanted, but surprisingly did not change anything from my design. It was strange being treated nicely by him when I was a mere stranger who forced her way to his family befo
Worsening ConditionElowen's POVI woke up feeling sore all over and I felt so weak that I couldn't even lift my arms and feet. When I checked my body, I noticed that I had bruises on some parts of my body. The events last night came back to me and I felt embarrassed by how I acted last night, but then smiled when I remembered Kohen comforting me and telling me he loves me. Our topic made me feel insecure and sad, and that is why I drank more than usual, but what Kohen said eased my mind and made me feel secure. I forced myself to sit down and released a groan when my whole body protested. Kohen and I overdid it, but I don't think I should be feeling weak like this. Not to mention the bruises on my skin. I glanced at the clock and my eyes widened when I saw that it was four in the afternoon. I dragged myself to the bathroom to take a bath, although I knew that my husband had already wiped me clean. I wore long sleeves and pants to hide the bruises from my friends and Kohen becaus
Late HoneymoonKohen's POVI came back to my quarters before midnight and thank God the girls were done because I couldn't stay a moment in that party. It was filled with lies, pride, ego and nothing but arrogance. Those who contributed so little and even had the guts to run away, boasted about doing something and saving the world but it was nothing but a load of bull. The one who made the most contribution is my wife, but my father and I agreed not to tell everyone about what she did for her safety. The demon might be dead, but we still have enemies out there, just waiting for the right moment to strike us, and they might use Elowen for their own gain."How did she get this wasted?" I asked her servants and friends who bowed their heads in shame and apology.Elowen was lying on the sofa and she was out of it. She was moving her hands around while singing a song I don't even know. "And you promised me a honeymoon," I sighed in disappointment but carried her wasted self in my arms.
Girl's Night Part TwoElowen's POV“Rhea has arrived, your highness.”Tears automatically gathered in my eyes as soon as I saw my best friend entering. My body moved before I could stop myself and I threw my arms around her.“You're safe,” I breathed emotionally, pulling back a little so I could check her face and body to make sure she wasn't hurt. “Thank God you're safe, Rhea. I was so worried about you. That demon copied your face and I thought he...” I choked before I could continue, unable to finish my sentence.“I'm safe, your highness. I guess I wasn't interesting enough for him to kill.” My best friend joked and we laughed together. “How about you? I heard what happened just this morning and I was worried sick, but I heard everyone's okay.”“Everything should be back to normal from now on. We can live our lives normally again.” I said and a wave of happiness hit me, but then I remembered my vision and it vanished in a snap. But the thing is, I can't let that vision ruin the h
This is Chapter 124, and the previous chapter is 123. I'm sorry for the mishap. *Girl's NightElowen's POVThe very next day, I told Kohen that I wanted to personally check if Rhea was okay because I couldn't reach her number. I didn't want to attract attention and I knew he was busy, so I assured him that I will be fine and that Jake will be with me. “The execution is today.” Kohen reminded me before I went and I just shrugged. “He deserved it for being a traitor. I am not really interested in seeing it. My best friend is more important, Kohen.”My husband looked satisfied by my answer and it looks like he suddenly remembered something. “I visited them last night... and he was acting strange. Did you have anything to do with it perhaps?”It was not really a question but a confirmation. And because he didn't want to offend me. “Yes,” I confirmed with a slow nod. “I showed him Olga's death and it would be the only thing he will remember before he dies.”A smile showed on his lips

Crossing BoundariesElowen's POV“Your highness, I... I appreciate you saving me like this, but...”Kraven personally wants to escort me back to my quarters, but I politely declined. I knew I might appear ungrateful, but maybe it's time I put some boundaries between us. It's time I wake up from a
The Winner Takes It AllElowen's POVMy heart was slamming against my ribcage as I stood up to give my speech, not wanting to embarrass the senator. My movement was stiff and I'm pretty sure I wasn't breathing either. When I was close enough, he smiled and offered his hand for me to take.“It's a p

She tried to teach me a lesson for getting to
