Dominic's POV

A few days had gone by since the council meeting and there had been silence. None of them had come to see or talk to me. None had tried to convince me otherwise - not even Keisha. They knew if I made a decision then it was indeed made.

Several other things were to be dealt with - like finding out what I could about Sage. It wasn't that I didn't trust her and it wasn't like I needed this truth badly but something in me needed to know. Who she really was.

How had she ended up whe

  • The Lycan King's Pregnant Healer    The Enemy Within Revealed

Author's POV As soon as Dominic reached home, he headed to the cyber room. That was the place he could find a hacker. Usually, he would go and see his mother, inform her on his return but this was more urgent. Someone inside this very palace, one of the people he thought he could trust had done something like this to him. He found James, one of his cyber security managers at home. Sometimes James worked for his company as well. At that moment, Dominic needed him for something else. He dropped the phone on the table. “I need you to find out who could have made that call to me” he pointed at the incoming call from his mother on the call log. He felt too restless so he didn't take the seat that James had offered. “I need to know now!" He ordered as he paced the room. James cleared his throat, “I'm sorry Alpha but if the call came from the phone then there is no way I can know who made it. Unless it was hacked midway through" he explained, unable to meet Dominic's eyes. Dominic glare

  • The Lycan King's Pregnant Healer    A Game Of Lies And Vanished Truths

Author's POV He stood up from where he had been staring intently at. Keisha who had been behind him came closer, his eyes dropping to the blood as well. “Is that hers?" Keisha asked although he was sure he knew the answer from the look of dread on Dominic's face. Dominic ground his teeth in rage. "It is. She was here and I have a feeling she isn't far off. Do not leave any house without searching. I don't care who is in it, the inconvenience it will cause. We must find her” he looked up at the sky. Time was running out. As they walked back to the car he tried to reach out to her through the link but once again it wasn't there. It felt like nothing existed where it had fully consumed him before. As if she had suddenly disappeared and taken everything with her. When he looked at the blood, he realized what it really looked like. He had been running from the word but at that moment he knew he couldn't. It looked like she was dead. He shook his head. It couldn't be that. Despite the

  • The Lycan King's Pregnant Healer    The Blood That Binds And Betrays

Author's POV It was already a new day. Sage had been gone for nearly twenty four hours. Dominic had been counting subconsciously, she had been gone for twenty one hours. He had been back from the deserted city twenty hours ago. The riddles hadn't left his mind but they had taken second place. At that moment his most serious concern was finding Sage. Nothing else concerned him. He had been waiting for feedback for his men on what they had found. Since night had fallen during the search, they hadn't been able to search seriously. Instead they had waited for morning but after cutting the road off from access. They didn't want the place to be corrupted anymore. Dominic had already taken a shower. It was still early in the morning, the sun hadn't risen yet but he was ready to go to the spot. He would search for himself. They shared a bond, there was no way he wouldn't sense her there if she had been. The door opened after a singular knock. Dominic didn't need to look up to know his mo

  • The Lycan King's Pregnant Healer    A Game Of Silence

Author's POV Dominic downed the cup of wine, he liked the way the taste hit his tastebuds. He pushed it to the side and looked back at the screen to see what was there but nothing had changed. It didn't matter how many times he looked. His soldiers had gone to the spot to search but had spotted nothing. His patience was beginning to run thin. If Dominic didn't find her soon, he would go mad. The link was still inexistent, it didn't matter how hard he tried to find her. It felt like she didn't exist anymore but he was sure he did. He had looked at his phone several times from any news but nothing had come. Despite his mom's words, he had not had any clarity on what the voice had told him. He stood up from his chair, pushing it back with force. There was only one other person that he could ask.Linda hadn't left the palace after Sage's exit. He had been grateful for that. She was a support that he didn't know he needed especially during this time when he was too occupied to give the

  • The Lycan King's Pregnant Healer    The Voice In The Dark

Author's POV Sage's eyes hadn't adapted to the darkness of the room. It was pitch black with not even a sliver of light inside the room. She had no idea how huge or how small the place was because the walls were invisible. Her heart raced, pumping with adrenaline. She didn't want to admit it but she was scared. Her eyes had remained tied behind her and when she tried to move, the restraints of a rope held her bound to the chair. The restraint of movement and the darkness together felt like a horrible recipe. She could hardly breathe easily already. Then she heard it, the voice. It came from the darkness. It didn't come from in front of behind or even beside. The voice seemed to be coming from everywhere, like an echo of the god speaking to you from above. “You have arrived at my home and I must welcome you" it was a rich, deep voice with an accent that seemed familiar. It immediately grabbed Sage's attention. She felt her body tighten with alarm at the voice. “What do you want?

  • The Lycan King's Pregnant Healer    The Truth Behind The Whispers

Author's POV As Dominic walked back to his office, he remembered what the voice had told him. He was the cause of who Sage was. If he understood it correctly, that also meant he was the cause of all of this and he had no idea how. It was mind boggling and it didn't matter how much he didn't want to think about it, his mind eventually turned back to it. It alternated between where Sage probably was and what the voice had said to him. When he stopped in front of the war room, he paused. He had forgotten momentarily what her mother had said but immediately it came rushing back. He remembered the location and so he walked in to find Elias there. Keisha had not yet come back. He cleared his throat, “Here's the location." Almost immediately, Elias began to note it down. Dominic read it out to him before taking a seat. He looked at Elias and then turned to the projector in front of the room. "Turn that on. I know the area and they have cameras, well placed” Once Elias turned it on, Domi
