Book 2: Chapter 53

Willow POV

I don't know what I am doing, but the voice inside my head is sure I can do this. I don't know why I get the feeling that this voice knows more about me than I do. So, I have to try to save my mother.

I think back to the memory of controlling the flames with my future self. "How much different can wind be than fire?" I ask myself.

My father and Osiris are standing on either side of me. I stand with my arms out to my sides and inhale deeply. Focusing on the tornado that is swirling around my mother's house, I begin to pull my mother's magic to me.

Unlike the fires from the vision, the wind hits me in the chest, almost knocking me over. Digging my feet into the ground, I grit my teeth as the wind moves from the house and begins to swirl around me.

My father and Osiris are flung back as the vortex creates a barrier around me.

"I don't know how to do this," I say with my arms still out at my sides. "Help me."
