Chapter 31: Divine

Athena’s POV

The sun rose early in the morning. I yawned and turned to the opposite side of the blanket I was resting on as a ray of sun hit the room. I fluttered my eyes open and lay on my back; there was no leisurely rotation of the fan for me to gaze at, so I quickly stood up and checked on my children.

I grumbled and was ready to stand up when I heard a tap on the camp tent I was sleeping in. I groaned and stood up. When I opened the tent, Grace was standing there.

Grace has been the kindest person I have encountered in the pack so far; she loves children and always takes her time to care for my kids. She had a broad smile plastered on her face. "Good morning, Grace," I said.

"Good morning, Athena, and how are the kids?" She inquired, peering around my back to see the kids, and I pulled away, allowing her to enter the tent.

"They're still sleeping," I chuckled.

"They look so beautiful in their sleep," she added, and I smiled at my kids.
