Dom’s POV

Tears streamed down Anastasia's face as she hugged him back. She was holding onto him so tightly. What could have happened to her? This was the second time that someone stated they thought she was dead. My blood began to boil. I just knew that had something to do with the scars she had.

"I'm here, Aron. I'm here." She pulled back slightly, cupping his face in her hands.

"They took me... I tried to send word, but I was detained."

‘Who took her?’ Amos chimed in, just as on edge as I was.

‘Shut up and maybe we will find out!’ I snapped.

"It doesn't matter," Aron spoke, in a voice thick with emotion.

He ran his hands over her arms, and shoulders, as if to assure himself she was real.

You're safe now, you're home." I watched them longer.

I was working very hard on suppressing Amos, and the urge to ask her who “they“ were. This wasn’t the time. I still needed to speak with the high priestess. He looked over her shoulder at me, his expression shifting from joy

Anastasia's POV‘Are you finished with your responsibilities yet?’ Amos’ voice filled my head, and an unavoidable smile painted my face. Dom must still be busy for Amos to be talking with me alone.‘Just about. Missed me?’ I asked, knowing the answer.“More than the moon and the stars, mate.’ Amos whimpered. He was the cutest. He was so child like at times and then, there were the other times when Dom would be sleeping and he would take control. They were definitely polar opposites.‘When you’re finished, come and see us. Dom needs you too.’I frowned slightly. I knew he did. After the Seer, and that unexpected visitor baring gifts, I’ve never seen him so closed off before.‘I’ll make time.’ I reassured him, making my way down to the kitchen in search for Miss Elaina. If I was being honest, I needed him too. I was just given huge news and didn’t have the time to talk to him about it. Maybe that’s what the Seer ment when she said my blood held the key.If that was true, then maybe I co

Anastasia’s POVWillows words played consistently in my head mixed with the seer’s premonition. I couldn’t understand how the Moon Goddess could possibly choose me. Why? What made me so special. This whole time, I had assumed that I was paying for the pain I had caused others.I’ve accepted it as my punishment, but now, knowing what I do… it was like the more I thought about it, the more overwhelming it had become. I wasn’t suffering, I was given a gift, and instead of viewing it that way, I took it as a curse. I didn’t really know how to feel about that.My room door opened and Rowan stood at the entrance. His emotions were always consistent him of irritation and anxiety. Maybe it was due to him being the leading warrior. Elara shared that title with him, but he had always managed to take over most of the work.I’m gonna need to speak with Elara about that.“Merry meet, High Priestess.” He spoke before he took several steps into my room and sat on the bed.“Merry meet, Rowan. You hav

Willow’s POVI half expected someone to come out of their home and stop this but no one did. It was like no one heard what was going on. Desperate now, I gave up on shooting daggers but instead gathered any liquid around me including the potion and flung it at him in every direction. Luckily this time, I managed to get him. He crashed to the ground almost immediately. Now panting and in pain I slowly backed away from him in the direction of the castle. I was hoping that the potion would work for longer, but it isn’t. He slowly started moving again and I knew that if I didn’t get some distance between us, this would be the end of me. I turned and managed to run. I kept running until I smacked into something. Someone. My senses immediately reacted an I knew right then and there that I ran into exactly who I needed to. My eyes connected with his dark ambers ones. “Help.” A whisper was all I could manage before I buried my face into him. I knew that he would protect me, kee

Cyrus’s POV “Got that name.” I said as I approached both him and the Luna. “It’s Darius. And he’s planning to stay in the kingdom for a while.” The silence that followed pressed heavy against my chest. I could feel how Dom’s power coiled in the room like a storm ready to break, but he kept his voice leveled and cool. “Men who choose their audience are men with purpose. And purpose without allegiance is a threat.” Xio and I both agreed with his words. “What would you have me do?” Dom’s answer came without pause. “Shadow him. We have enough going on already. The last thing we need is an uninvited rogue roaming about causing more chaos.” “That I can do.” I reassured. His jaw tightened, and I felt the sharp edge of his thoughts through the bond. “Darius believes he has earned my attention,” he said, his tone low, dangerous. “Let him think it. Let him believe he is weaving his way into my court. And when he shows his hand, I will cut it off.” I gave a single nod

Cyrus’s POV He finally glanced at me from the water. His eyes glinted, dark and unreadable, as a slow smile touched his mouth. “Why would I want to be found?” He asked as he rose to his feet. “Because I like you, Beta. You’re being wasted following behind him like a shadow.” ‘The ego on this asshole.’ Xio growled. “Careful,” I warned. “Your flattery is sounding a lot like disrespect.” He chuckled, low and unbothered. “Believe me, beta, if I meant disrespect, you’d know.” He said, it was a poor attempt to intimidate me. ‘Fuck this guy!’ Xio snarled at the man’s arrogance. “Overestimating yourself, I see.” I retorted, uninterested in whatever game he was trying to play. He had another thing coming if the believed he could pin me against Dom. Dom was my king first, and brother second. Although we weren’t related by blood, our Lycans have always been a pare. Linked the moment they appeared. I had always knew I was Dom’s beta, even as small children. And when I ha
