Chapter Four

Alora's POV

Tears of humiliation welled up in a flash, and I was frozen in place, not knowing what to do. I thought about tonight's ceremony, Hunter's vows, and the past four years of our relationship. Everything disintegrated in the moans and lustful words of the two of them.

Everything had been flushed down her legs, just as his manhood had been buried inside of her.

I didn't know what to do, how was I expected to react?. I shook in disbelief, my entire body was shivering and I could feel myself having a heart attack. Even my clothes had completely been soaked by my tears. I wiped my tears with the back of my palm, trying to put myself together. I had barely taken two steps forward when I felt a force.

Yes, it was grief and anger, it still made me push open the door, and witnessed a scene that made me sick to the stomach.

His lips were already swallowing hers, as he laid on top of her with his waist, gradually moving. His manhood was balls deep inside of her already.

"Uhh..Hunter!!!" She screamed his name, enveloping her hands around his neck, not letting him go as he pushed all of his weight inside of her.

My body was completely frozen in place, watching the whole scenario unfold in front of me. Not, taking my eyes off them, not even for a second as he fondled her br*sts, not wanting to stop his actions. I was looking at the same man, who promised me love and the whole world, about four years ago. The same man, who I had given all my attention to, the same man who because of , I couldn't look at any other man twice.

Yes, it was the same person who was to announce to the world that I am his mate, and one true love. I sniffed, wiping my tears continuously, while I watched them continue their disgusting act.

It took a while for them to notice my presence. They were so indulged in each other, it was as if I wasn't even standing there. It got to a point, I began to wonder if I had become invisible, or maybe they just chose to ignore my presence since they had already been caught in the act.

My stepsister glanced at me, with wide eyes, looking at Hunter, who bit his lower lip. She swallowed hard, and eventually grabbed something to cover her br*sts with, as she ran out of the room. Pushing me aside in the process.

I turned to look at Hunter, who on the other hand, covered his lower body with a sheet and looked at me indifferently. I knew he was still contemplating on what he would tell me, what lies was he going to feed me next?. What did he even think that he would say, to cover up everything that I had just seen and heard.

I was in tears and Hunter just sat there, staring at me in silence, his face expressionless. He lowered his head in shame, I looked at him with disgust and wanted to leave. It seemed like he had nothing to say, no words whatsoever. And maybe it was better off that way. It would make moving on a lot better for the both of us.

I guess I was wrong about that because, after a few minutes, he finally spoke. The expression on his face also eased, and with chagrin and pleading, he knelt to beg my forgiveness.

"I know what you might be thinking, but believe me. That is not the case, I don't know what happened. I don't know what came over me, but please find it in your heart to forgive me. You are the one that I truly love" he cried out. With his palms together, his knees kissing the floor. He crawled to where I stood and I moved back in shock.

"How could you do this to me? And to think that you are supposed to announce me as your mate, tonight?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

With my palm flying to my forehead, rubbing on it roughly. Just for me to get some kind of relief.

"I know. Please believe me, I didn't intend to do it, she…she…I don't know what to say but please, just forgive me" he began to shed crocodile tears, all fake.

"Maybe, you don't know what to say because you have been lying to me all this while!!! You have been deceiving me!!" I raised my voice at him, moving further away from him.

I used to enjoy his presence, but all I wanted was to stay as far away from him as I could. I didn't even want to breathe the same air as him, I don't want to be anywhere close to him.

"I'm sorry" he whispered with a cracked voice. Still on his knees, pleading and asking for my forgiveness.

Hell knows that I had no intentions of forgiving him. He had already made himself appear as a beast in my eyes.

After my strict refusal, he acted grief-stricken again and pressed to death. I just wanted to escape from his presence, and tried to walk towards the exit of the room.

But again, he stopped me. He wiped the tears off his face and looked at me with so much anger.

"You!! You are to be blamed for this. It is all your fault" He shouted at me, and immediately I felt goosebumps everywhere. My entire brain had shut down. I was no longer reasoning.

I didn't know whether to be scared as he had me pinned to the wall, or to be angry as he accused me, after I just caught him with another woman. Not just any other woman, but my own step sister….it just had to be her!!.
