"But that's not a proper rejection," she said with eyes wide open while trying her best not to raise her voice.

"I know it's not but what can I do….. I can't possibly stop him which you know" I said trying so hard to act strong in her presence.

One thing I hate to show to people is my weakness…. I was trained to be a man of myself though sometimes a little care and love isn't too much to ask for.

"Are you really sure you can handle this?" She asked me with eyes full of pity and care.

"At least it is far better than the insult I get every day from him".

"Okay fine but you know if you need a shoulder to cry mine is always padded to absorb your tears" she added while we hugged each other.

I waved her bye while shutting the door behind me. Yes I know I might have acted nonchalantly about the issue of him rejecting me publicly but can I really cope?....... I'm used to his insult already and I believe one day he will grow to love me for who I am.
