"Trust your heart."

Those words refused to leave me.

The academy was strangely quiet after the Alpha Council departed, but the silence felt unnatural, as though Willowbrook itself was holding its breath.

A soft knock interrupted my thoughts.

"Come in."

The door opened slowly.

Wesley stepped inside, dressed in a simple black shirt instead of his academy uniform. The morning sunlig

Emilia's POVThe Firstborn army descended upon Elarion like a silver storm.Their armor reflected the light of the seven moons, and every weapon they carried seemed forged from the laws of creation themselves. For a moment, I simply stared. Then Aurel shouted."Guard the Origin!"The Seven Guardians moved at once.Nerina summoned enormous waves from the silver ocean.Kael's flames tore across the sky.The Guardian of Earth raised crystal roots from the floating islands. The Guardian of Time froze entire groups of soldiers in midair. The Guardian of Stars opened constellations above the battlefield, raining brilliant starlight upon our enemies. And the Seventh Guardian...Disappeared.I looked around."Where did they go?"A voice whispered beside me."Where shadows are needed."Then darkness spread beneath the Firstborn warriors. They stumbled.Their silver armor flickered. The Seventh Guardian reappeared behind them."Now."Wesley charged. The First Beast roared as golden energy surro

  • The Lycan king's Claim    Chapter 142: Beyond the Origin

Emilia's POVThe doorway inside the Origin remained open.No one moved.Beyond it stretched a world unlike anything I had ever imagined.Seven moons hung above a vast silver ocean.Floating cities drifted between golden clouds.Massive crystal bridges connected islands suspended in the sky.And far beyond them...Something enormous moved beneath the surface of the stars.Liam stared in disbelief."This place isn't recorded in any of the ancient archives."Orion nodded."Because it predates them."Aurel stepped closer to the doorway."I have seen this realm before."Everyone turned toward him."When?""Before the First World."His expression became distant."It was called Elarion.""The Realm Beyond Creation."Chloe frowned."Who lives there?"Aurel hesitated."The Firstborn."The name sent an uneasy feeling through me."Who are the Firstborn?"Seluna answered quietly."They existed before the Architect.""Before the Guardians.""Before the Void."My heart tightened."Are they dangerou

Emilia's POVThe chamber disappeared. There was no floor beneath my feet.No ceiling. No walls.Only endless stars.Countless worlds floated around us like fragile glass spheres. At the center of everything...The Origin. It pulsed with a light that seemed to contain every color I had ever seen. The Architect stood before it.His white armor reflected the light.Seven black stars glowed across his chest."You wanted answers," he said."Now you will see everything."I tightened my grip on the Sword of Eclipse."I don't want your answers.""I want to know why you're doing this."The Architect laughed softly."Because existence is flawed."Liam frowned."That's your reason?""Look around you."He gestured toward the countless worlds."War.""Fear.""Greed.""Death.""Every world repeats the same mistakes.""The Origin creates.""The Void destroys.""And the cycle continues."He looked at me."I intend to end the cycle."Wesley stepped forward."By destroying everything?""No."The Archit

  • The Lycan king's Claim    Chapter 140: Beneath Willowbrook

Emilia's POVThe words remained in my mind long after we returned from the Shadow Realm.Look beneath Willowbrook.I couldn't stop thinking about them. The academy had been built over ancient ruins before. The Hall of Echoes. The First Seal. The hidden chambers beneath the Ancient Willow. But Seluna's warning felt different.Older.More urgent. We returned to Willowbrook before dawn. The academy was unusually quiet.Students were still asleep, unaware that the Seven Guardians had finally reunited.Orion led us toward the central courtyard. The Ancient Willow stood beneath the moonlight. Its enormous branches moved gently in the wind.Liam studied the ground around it."There's something here."Chloe looked at him."You can sense it?"He nodded."Very faintly."The Seventh Guardian stepped forward."The oldest magic is sleeping beneath this tree."Wesley frowned."Why would Seluna tell Emilia to look here?"The Guardian looked at me."Because whatever lies beneath this academy was hidd

Emilia's POVThe Shadow Realm was collapsing.Black cracks spread across the skyless darkness, tearing through the palace walls and swallowing entire sections of the ancient city. The Seventh Guardian raised a protective barrier around us."We have to leave."Nyxara stared at the cracks."No."Her voice was quiet."We can't."I looked at her."Why?""Because the Void King is here."A deep vibration passed through the ground. Then came the voice."You have chosen against me."The words seemed to come from everywhere. The Seventh Guardian's expression hardened."The Void King."Nyxara stepped backward. For the first time, genuine fear appeared in her eyes."He has never entered this realm before.""Why now?" Wesley asked. The Guardian looked at me."Because the First Shadow chose balance.""And that choice threatens everything the Void King has built."A massive black fissure opened above the palace.Something descended through it.At first, I saw only darkness. Then two enormous silver
