“Are they similar?” He asked, watching her expression keenly.

She nodded silently, her mind was racing and bracing itself for the question she knew he was about to ask.

“Most of those scars you have can only be made by a beast of some kind, especially a werewolf.” He said, staring intently at her. “So I want you to tell me something, Riley. Apart from the night, I saved you, have you ever been attacked by a werewolf?”
