John shuts the door behind him and I let out a breath to gather my courage and look him in the face.

He's frowning so heavily like he's just dying to have wrinkles. What's wrong with him? My thoughts flash to Tatiana and I can already imagine there's trouble in paradise.

“ Well look who it is,” he chuckles, his mood suddenly brightening up. He has turned me to his clown, an object of mockery– I can only imagine how much fun he's having.

Sick, twisted man. I should've filed for this divorce a long time ago. At least then, he would've been out of my life and he wouldn't accuse me of cheating.

He's trying desperately hard to label us the same when in fact, we're two very different people.

It's still afternoon and I wonder why he's even here. He should be at work.

“ Let's get this over with,” I start in a bold voice.

“ Done playing Cinderella,” he asks, ignoring my request to go straight to the point. “I bet you ran straight to your lover. Did you report me?”

“ What do you want?”
