Jasper’s gaze was locked on mine as I struggled to not twitch. His hand was not touching me and I had no idea what he was going to do.

But my mind wanted him to touch me, wanted him to do everything that my nefarious mind was coming up with. The last task had left me reeling and the taste of failure was bad. I wanted to one up him without getting lost in the sensation of his touch, though that seemed a bit hard to me.

His breath fanned my face and tickled the locks of my hair as he reached for the collar of my shirt.

My heart began thumping wildly and I thought it would just combust and disappear into a million pieces as he gently pushed the collar away.

Wait was he undressing me? A deep blush rose up my cheeks and my toes curled at the thought.

Was it a lesson? A task again? Or did he really want to do whatever he had begun?

I wanted to know the answer but I also did not want to find it. I feared that if it would be just a task in his eyes, I would be disappointed.
