Marly POV

My heart was racing as I tried to hack into the computer. I tried every sequence, every trick I could imagine. I knew Carson was tracking down our team who has some experienced in safely detonating bombs. However, I could not give up trying, I needed to break into this computer. It had critical information. It had to, otherwise, why would it be protected?

I felt Carson pacing beside me but I had successfully blocked him out. I was down to nine minutes, and I felt sweat on my brow. “Marly, let it go. We can find Cecilia some other way,” Carson urged, wanting to toss the laptop before it blew up in my face. “I cannot give up. There are big secrets here for them to want to keep us out,” I said, my face determined to continue at the task at hand.
